yea i hear you. at best justin could run the 16.5. but he ran a 17.8 or 17.9 cause he bearly beat the hatch who ran a 18.01. so yea we would be better. and soon im gonna get some mods aswell. headers for sure and maybe a better exhaust system. im looking forward to the bash aswell, its gonna be a fun day for us.

scott you need to clarify how we are gon be placedin classes, i know mods will affect it,but what if you have moe peformance than visual, will you still be put in mild instead of street, even though maybe one guy is in street only because he looks good???? what about the people that made their car to run good???? cuzi know i made my car look lilke ****, but yet i have some good performance parts on it...so i run a hell of a lot better than stock...?????how will that work

classes (just like last year) will be determined by MODS..if you car is built for performance than it wont show much on the judging sheet since were at a track ..when you send me you registrations tell me what class you would LIKE to be in and the final class will be made when you show up at the gate...i will let you UP class but not DOWN class..for instance..if your car SHOULD be in street or mild and you want to show in FULL(wild) then i will let you..if you car is OBVIOUSLY a wild car then dont ask to be in mild or street, got it? now while performance mods wont show up much on the judging sheet there are points for engine bay..several actually..so how you SHOW OFF your mods is what will get you points,,you got boost?itll show..spray? itll show,powdercoat etc...and KEEP IT CLEAN!
as far as which class you will be in it will go something like this..
if youve got simple bolt ons..like engine mods..stereo..rims.etc, expect to be in street...
if you have a body kit,fiberglass work,air ride, several screen,lambo doors..expect to be in mild...
if you have a COMBINATION of above mods then you will be in wild..example...a car with 18"+ rims..lowered..lamboed with full body kit + youll be in wild no questions asked......
now while there are MANY MANY mods out there of course that i cant list them all just take that as an example when asking to be in a class when you register and everything will get sorted out at the gate ok
and as far as the judging sheet we are using something similar to heatwaves sheet..with alittle extra its like a 2 1/2 page sheet

unless youve done a bit to your car since ive seen it last i doubt itll be in wild..probably mild..depending on whats on it when you bring it

so yea tom is working on something to send me for the bash since he wont be able to make it. he will be here in DFW for the hot import nights show w/GM division.

 

ok guys weres the interest? a group drove to austin. this is half way betweent austin and dfw. its at a track and theres a show as well. no ones registering for the show. not many are posting about going. scott has worked hard to get this started along with a couple of others. he cant get trophys ordered if no one is registering or whats till the last second.

ive got 4 sponsors in the works for the event:

we are working hard to get sponsers, get nice trophys, have the meet at a track, have a show, no cops busting us, a cruise from different cities to the event, and possible either free food and/or drinks.

now the easy part, we need people to show up, and register for the show part! even if you dont have alot done, its the fun in the event.

Show entry fee with PRE-registration will be $25.00 ..due by april 1st...all registrations recieved after that date will be charged $35.00 ..registration will include 1 car 1 driver..all additional people going to show will be charged $5.00 at the gate(track policy) ..testNtune racing (open all day) will be an additional $10.00...if not entering show and you want to race then you will need only pay 5 at gate and 10 to race..

We'll be there, no worries. There is no way we are ever missing this show. We had a blast last year. I'm going to gather all of our registry money and paypal Scott one big payment, hopefully in a few days. So far there will be about 12 people coming from Houston this year.

 

any 2.2's???? i wanna run some other 2.2's besides the ones here in austin, want to where i stand, so far i run a 15.7@best, that was b4 the header and megan exhaust

 

i know 3/4 balts going. me, luis, JD, and another balt in bulerson. i know a handful of the texas j's are going as well from reading the post on the org. looks to be another j domanation. hoping to get the balts to make a nice stand. though i will be taking both cars hopefully, so i will have a j and d body there. if anything like last time should be like 12+ish rolling there from dfw area.

 

There's 2 black 4 door 2.2's. I am going to try to get evvvverybody to participate in both the show and racing lol. Wish me luck
