I wanna see one in person, doesn't matter what color. im thinkin about getting one, they are awesome looking cars. hopefully it won't be much longer cause if so i may have to get something else, i'll be buying a car with the next month. PLEASE HAVE SOME COBALTS RELEASED IN TEXAS BY THEN!!!!

Hi, I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say I've been reading the stuff on here for a while and let me tell you I am more excited than ever to see the cobalt ss here but unfortunatly they havent made it to Texas yet, at least not west Texas. I'm not actually in the market for a new car yet but my plans are to be in the market at the end of May and the Chevy Cobalt SS is one of a few I'm considering. I'm going to wait patiently till the end of May and hopefully the SS will make it here by then!!

I'm in el paso county just outside el paso. I see your in midland. not to far from here.

 

yeah about 5 hours, BlueVillain said that the closest cobalt ss s/c to midland is going to be in del rio but it hasnt arrived yet.

I belive its around 35 miles NorthWest of DFW off of HWY 287 I think. GM buypower is not always accurate all the time so I am not 100% sure they have it. A few dealers had a couple Coupes listed here that I tryed to get but a bunch of them said they had not arrived. I purchased my just reg LS coupe from Classic but they had to dealer trade with Cover Chevrolet in Bastrop,Tx which is almost 200 miles away.

 

Went to Mission Chevrolet (dealer in el paso) over spring break. They told me they wouldnt see any SSs till May. Just FYI.

I finally got to see the Cobalt coupe in person last week and it looks nice but the interior didnt impress me much. They only had the basic models so I'm hoping when the models with the sport packages come in they might impress me a little. Unfortunatly I got a salesperson who was kinda in a hurry to end her day that I didnt even get to test drive it.

We just arrived last night in Houston Texas with a silver 05 Cobalt SS. It has the black with red trim seating, no sunroof. So far we think this is the first titled Cobalt in Texas.

We will be using this vehicle to begin producing/testing parts for the Cobalt and are very excited with this new platform. GM has produced what we think is the best compact GM car ever and the timing is great as it gives more people another American four cylinder performance car.

I had a chance to look at one this past weekend while I was at NASCAR, the had the "Chevrolet Experience" with both an SS and a base sedan. I can't wait to get mine!

Hey, I live in Houston and I just got my Cobalt SS Supercharged tonight. It's Arrival Blue, and loaded except for sunroof and Recaros/LSD.

Keep an eye out, I will be posting pics tommorow.
