No Cobalt here, but I'm also in the DFW area, and wouldn't mind meeting some Cobalt peeps. I drive a 2004 SRT-4, but I've been a fan of the SS since it came out. I kinda look at as Domestics showing Imports how it's really done. Besides that, I'd like to check out a SS in person, to see if there as nice as I hear they are.

Count me in for Hooters! =D

I just got a base Cobalt coupe last night so count me in. And I would definately be up for a Cobalt DFW meet. Where is everyone else? I KNOW there has to be more owners out there in DFW. I've seen a couple of them on the roads. And Hooters sounds good to me.

well, considering i downgraded from a 2005 pontiac GTO with 400 horse, im disappointed, but i love this cobalt, its fun to drive and a hell of alot cheaper on gas. i went from about 12mpg with premium gas to 28mpg with regular so im not complaining in that department. and to be totally honest i get more looks in the cobalt cuz nobody knew what the hell a GTO was anyway (at least the women didnt) and it really didnt look like a muscle car either. they need to bring back the T/A and the Camaro and put that LS2 engine in those. The T/A in my opinion is the toughest looking car on the road. this little chevy has definitely grown on me since ive had it though. its just a bad time for car manufacturers to have a horsepower war with each other. imports and compacts are the muscle cars nowadays. they are what camaros and T/A's were back in the day, cheap to buy and easy to maintain, but if it wasnt for this damn $3 a gallon gas i would still be eating up mustangs, but oh well, with a few mods my cobalt will be doin that to, hahaha
