car shows suck
car shows suck
listen enough of these stupid car shows where everyone stands around and jerks each other off. lets get a track day, or roll out and street race somewhere. yall got fast cars. put em to use and stop lookin at em. im down for any racin. just let me know when and where
hmmmmm.......well, we had a track meet at Kenedale, granted it was very short notice, but only 3 people showed. As it stands now, I think Evan has to be crowned the King of the LSJs.
I have a suggestion........and hell I'll even donate to this suggestion...... Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding area LSJ owners ONLY sorry N/A SS's, whomever can run the best 1/8th mile time in the DFW area (can be either at the Denton or Kenedale track or any other local 1/8th mile track upon approval-it can't be some way out track that has better sea level and is not accessible to all DFW LSJs) will have DFW bragging rights and will get to sport this keychain as proof of their LSJ dominance locally.

The rules are as follows, 2 other LSJ owners/forum members of this or Redlineforums (non-participants) must be witnesses during run (I suggest the challenger and the champion bring their own witnessing party). Timeslips may be requested but are not needed nor are proof enough by themselves as verification. In order to dethrone the current "King of the LSJs" you must challenge them to a day at the track preferrably on the forums. The reigning champ has 1 month from date of challenge (why its best to challenge on the forums) to accept to a date/time to run. The reigning champ must give the challenger at least 3 runs within the same day while the champ may run as many times throughout the same day to retain his title. For instance, if the challenger posts a better time in their 2nd run, the champ can run as long as they like to try and beat the challenger's time. If the champ posts a better time, then the challenger is given another 3 attempts within the same day. If the track closes before the challenger can get 3 runs, then whoever has the quickest time that day will retain the title and if dethroned, the king will have to relinquish his keychain.
No this isn't a very expensive Keychain. What you are competing for is bragging rights in North-Central Texas. Hopefully this will be a good way to get some interest going and more importantly a great way to have some fun. I am reserving all rights and final judgement in the event of a dispute or questions regarding the rules. Good Luck, and may the best LSJ driver win!
Oh, and as far as I know Evan has the best 1/8th time, thus will be given the Keychain as soon as possible (we won't go into some lavish ceremony like on Star Wars where they gave everyone a medal except Chewbacca, Damn Princess Leia is an anti-wookite!!).

hey texasphil... wonderin what happened to you... seems like you still got the same spirit.... if you come back up here lets have a rematch... I'll start in 2nd this time.... hahahahha
If there were more 1/4 mile tracks around then I would say do 1/4 mile, but we have to make due with what there is access to. I figure with 2 1/8th mile tracks it should make it easier to get some meetings/competitions. You bastards need to put up or shut up........
