Ah I see well both are good cities to live in and have everything you could want, houston is nice as long as you stay on the outskirts where traffic is not terrible. Right now I live in humble which is right outside houston its close to everything and all the highways. Easy to travel and what not, right now I stay with my mom because I just moved back from Indiana but I have found a few apts just want to do a few things to my car before I move out on my own again lol.
ive been looking for a roomate for a while for either place...i need a place to garage my car and allows dogs..i really dont care where i live in texas as long as its a decent city and not way out in the country away from everything
What kind of dog??? allot of rent places in TX will not allow several breeds of dog... Thats a problem I have because i have 2 boxers but I just leave them with my parents becasue a boxer is not really an apt dog they need a yard since they are so hyper. To bad I'm not looking to move out on my own again yet, I would say your best bet is craigslist lol....I know that sux because thats what i had to do when I moved to Indiana for work...I had 3 room mates total and everyone of them did not want to pay their bills... you just have to be careful when choosing a roommate.
yes indeed you need a house you can find really nice rent houses around here for anywhere from $800 and up and when I say $950 that was a brand new house I was looking at renting in the back of my current neighbor hood.
Thats how I felt when I moved to Indianapolis, but I am a really family/friend oriented guy so it didn't really work out to well for me not to mention I did to good of a job in Indiana and eventually my customers quit breaking their stuff so I had to move back to Houson lol.
yea but its different for me..going to texas is getting away from godly high prices..the place i rent is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath TOWNHOME with a small ass backyard and tiny front yard with a 1 car garage my civic barely fits in and it cost me 1850 a month
Thats crazy $1850 will get you like a 3000sqft house with a 3 car garage here lol depending on if you look in the right places I will talk to my friends wife shes a realtor and can find rent houses is there any amount you would feel comfortable paying if you had to do it by your self??? I can find houses in the price range and send you a list.

houston is nice if you live in right area.l i live in kingwood and it's a pretty nice and wooded area. but i think houston has waaaay more job opportunities than dallas. they say houston is one of the top wealthiest cities in america
I will talk to her tomorrow and it will take a day or so for her to get the list, what side of town would you like to be on??
Do you go to the clubs, or does it matter as long as you are close to everything you need.
List some of your hobbies and I can fine tune the area a little.

i want a safe area for my kids/cars..i dont care about driving 15 mins to be to the city...30 mins is pushing it but still fine any more is too far...i dont club or party...im married with 2 kids (they arent coming out right away) so yea..i like cars lol...and i tune
So kid friendly, close to car events, and a dyno i suppose I would really suggest the kingwood/humble/spring area its right outside the city actually a pretty nice part of town and close to anything you could want. Not to mention you can get to any of the major highways in 10min or less, what kind of work will you be looking to do?
haha so i hear...
i wont be looking for work for a while...look at my sig
