Anyone know of any shops in the DFW area that are good and do dyno/tune?

I don't want to drive to houston for a tune like my coworker did.

 

Where did he go to in houston? MTI?

 

I asked him but forgot when I got back to my desk but it was not MTI. It was a shop that does free tunes after the first for the life of his car.

He has an Trans am LS1 motor running 400hp right now.

 

For you I'd recommend RPM, they're in Lewisville

also HPP racing is about 5 mins from RPM and they also tune Hp tuners software but they deal i work with a guy that started that company...(long story)

Yea RPM does not do tunes for the Cobalt's. I e-mailed and asked.

 

NO ONE CAN unless you have hptuners
then hpp is the place

They did the most recent tune on my Z06 after I bought their headers.

I drove 800 miles down from central Illinois to have them do the work.

They are pretty well known and highly respected in Corvette circles.

You'll have to call them and ask if they could do your Cobalt.

They did some work on a Formula I used to have. They did some nice work.

 

E-mail is off of course I will let you guys know what I hear back.

 

They just got hptuners and are working with it. They don't carry any specific parts but of course are willing to order as requested.

Cool, I'll prob piece together my own stage kit and then take the car to LG to tune it.
