Any denton people here, did you get hit by the flood??

My g/f lost EVERYTHING she had on the floor in her apartment. Her computer, her radio, her camera!, everything got SOAKED!! (shes a photo major. no camera = no photos!!)

Just checking if everyone else is alright and/or as screwed as she is.

 

Yeah man, I drove through some deep ****. Scared the **** out of me, thought I was going to seize up the engine, but its running fine.

I got stranded off of the UNT campus at an apartment complex for an hour and a half, waiting for the rain to let up. It was like a freakin river around there man! I was real lucky that I didnt damage my car.

That whole complex got soaked. Water line of 4 feet on the interior of it, but luckily only a few inches got inside the apartments (dont know about people who had their windows open). Last night and all today they were pumping water out of peoples apartments, but it still smells like mold and the carpets are all squishy. Thank goodness school lets out soon.

On the bright side, her camera is being repaired, the car still runs, and shes safe.

 

that sucks, im gald in at SFA right now, only the rain down here is doing a good job of turd floating too, parked my baby on the 3rd floor of the parking lot
