So I thought we wanted to try and set up some monthly or weekly get togethors. You DFW guys been strangely silent on the boards lately. Whats everyone think.

 

My schedule changes from week to week but it would be nice to have a steady meeting time/place so when i am free i can attend. It would also be easier to plan for it. I would perfer a weekly meet instead of a monthly one.

 

i work 60hrs a week starting every morn at 7am...so it would have to be saturdays

Yeah deff, if we could get enough ppl out here, i don't get my sched till tues so i won't know if i work sat or not, and even if i do i could find someone to take my shift, so if sat is what yall wanna do, i'm down. Oh yeah and make sure somebody brings a video cam, so we can post it up.

 

I work a lot of Saturday nights so I doubt I could make very many of them.

 

We need to choose B4 the weekend because my girl is going out of town for 2 weeks.

Most Sonic's are more than willing.

I think Magic Time Machine would be fun. But that is kind of pricy for a regular GTG. (the roman orgy is a good time. Trust me.)

Bone Daddy's is a nice hooders trade off. But the girls of bone daddy's are younger. It is a BBQ joint.

Errrm... any of the old fashion burger joints that are still around would be cool.

Any other unique locations? Perhaps like at a small airport cafe or something. Get some good shots along the runway.

I live in the Lewisville/ Flower Mound area. I could really only do it on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday. I manage a collision center so my days are pretty booked, but I am down if we can get something decent together.

Well what does everybody think about the sonic in the colony at around noonish this coming sat? noonish b/c traffic gets bad around 5, so we could be long gone by then if we wanted to do any driving/racing.

Hey theres a Thursday night meet that the SRT guys started and it has grown quite a bit. Alot of other cars come besides SRT's so your more than welcome to join. The owner of BDJ's Racing will be there is a really nice guy to talk to about cars and very knowledgable. This meet is in Arlington on Thursday nights around 8-8:30ish. Its in the small parking lot behind the Taco Cabana off of 360 between I-30 and I-20(closer to I-30, bout 3-4 exits south of I-30 to be exact) Also, not sure if ya'll know about BDJ's or not but heres his website www.BDJsRacing.com. Theres parts for all kinds of cars. Check it out, and If I'm not at the meet, Just introduce yourself to some of the people there. They aren't ******** SRT drivers so don't worry!

The Taco Cabana off of 360 and pioneer parkway? that is a 2 minute drive from my house! i work on thursdays until 9:30... maybe i'll have to take off work or stop by after work if it's still going on

 

I'm in Denton about one weekend every month. If you guys are going to get together make sure to post something up that day so maybe I can join up if I'm in the area.

The Colony is quite a drive for me. I am out in the Alliance area north of Fort Worth. I mean if thats where were meeting ok but I will need directions. also if Im driving that far it needs to be more then just a 30 min lunch kinda thing you know.

 

Yeah, it'll be an all day thing.. and as far as directions go, its pretty easy, but mapquest will get ya here I always use it for directions south into the dallas area
