a car club in louisiana

 

As far as an Official Louisiana Cobalt Club no there is not. i know there are starting to be a better number of us on the site but nothing like some of the more metro areas like dallas houston and such. Obviously people might be in other clubs with thier own friends in thier own parrish. earlier this year 5 Balt drivers got together at the lakefront i know there was more hype about it and not as many show up as expected. Also there are a few RL guys around to. I do have alot of peoples SNs saved in my buddies list so if we could get the support i would love to do something.

Again i think that the general distance between all of us makes it hard to set anything in stone. there are those of us talking about cruising the capitol city some time soon. also there is the Dyno day down in the West Bank some time in the beginning of October.

i dont think there are to many car clubs around here.we go to the kenner boat launch and chill.they have alot a people that go there.everybody there is pretty cool.(not when the little tinny boobers come out)sometimes we go to the hot spot for some racing after.(open road with no cars ever on it).

i know of a few ppl that drive cobalts in town that might wanna join...

lets make it official like as of now?? i been wanting to join a car club especially for the cobalts. that would be sweet... where would the most central place for everyone that would wanna join be??/ dont matter to me i like to drive my car

oh ****!!! someone with an ss that lives close to me. i dont see to many were i live but im in houma almost eveyweekend.

 

well i am the only yellow ss/sc in houma with the low wing...but they have a few yellow ls not to get me confused

 

thats cool i live in Galliano if you know where thats at(its near Golden Meadow). Im the only red one i see around here. I probably have seen you around tho. you might have even seen me its red but i used to have a black aluminum spoiler and black rims. i thought the spoiler was a bit ricy so i took it off. wat mods you have?

it doesnt matter what they design is as long as these 2 fn rice burners i raced and beat today woulda known who they was fn with.

im already spoilerless but my trunck still has the holes...i just but bolts and washers in them for now....so im getting that fixed

 

What's up, people... I've been lurking for a while from the safety of Redlineforums .com and I decided to pop in and stick my nose in. I've been wanting to start a car club here for years. I grew up in Thibodaux, I've been in N.O. for the last 8 years, but in 2 weeks I'm moving back to the Bayou!

Anyway, I've got an '06 Red Line, with the comp. package, black, with the low spoiler. I've spotted a couple of Cobalt SS's around town, but I had no idea there were that many out in Lafourche and Terrebonne. We need to meet up at a show, or NPR, or something.

 

fo sho....ther are alot of LS's around here but a few ss/sc. i live in lafourche parish so if you see a red ss/sc debadged, lowered, spoilerless, wit black rims....holla at me maybe we could race or something.

 

i wanna see what the meth injection comparted to stock does... i am ready... got an ss/sc. i go to lockport once a month or more sometimes.

 

yea i might go if im not working....last time i was the only cobalt ss/sc in the whole damn place. it was a bunch of muscle cars and trucks and then me. lol i was parked with all the car clubs...maybe thats why i did see any ss's out there.

im actually runing just water injection right now cause i have no meth..but it still makes a huge difference. you get peak boost alot faster, using water injection is like racing you car on a cool foggy morning..it runs great! but i dont use it unless it the summer cause if its already cool outside it doesnt make a difference, unless im using meth then it makes a bit of diffence. I have a CAI so i needed it for the summer cause its so damn hot and the injection makes it run as if it is cool outside...anyway...we should definally race. i want to see wat CAI and exhaust does against a stock ss/sc. hopefully we meet up soon cause in december in getting stage 2!!!

 

i am not completely stock... injen cai, gmpp sport exhaust, motor mount, still working on torque damp., angel eyes headlights. i am looking at my stage 2 as i am typing this. its been sitting here for 3 weeks now. i hope we meet up soon bc i want the water/meth injection, but still am unsure about how to install it and then all the other stuff that is going on with the sc.

 

dont get the torque dampner.its not all that good.try some mounts first.they will make the ride a little stiffer but they help better.if you want to get an idea how it feels.you can take a ride in my car.i got the tranny mount and traction bars.they are great.but if you want to get on i got one i dont want.its still on my car.
