A few ppl from Chevy hhr ss owners on FB are trying to get together this year on June 20 in Biloxi, Ms. From what I've seen there isn't too much down here for us but meeting up and hanging out family and garage style could be good. I'll be there along with a few more who came up with the idea. Nothing Official or anything but would be awesome to make a showing!

And my friend always brings her 95 E36 down.

I have never seen an HHR SS around.

 

Find a friend and drive them both. A couple other guys are working on a website or a promotion thru scrapin for an ecotech meet. They apparently know way more people than me. I'll post it here after they iron out their details.

 

It would be nice to have an ecotec meet closer than Florida or Georgia. If we could get it in the mississippi/louisiana area it would be nice.

Gulf coast is a small group, and will sporadically do day long meets at gulf shores/pensacola. Most of that group is in florida/alabama.

My 03 Ion is completely stock. Not sure if you know, but 03/04 Ions have non tunable pcms, so the most I could do is an intake and exhaust, and don't see it being worth it. Just gonna throw some rims on it that I picked up today.

My 06 Redline, Option B, Dual Pass, Magnaflow muffler, FE5 shocks/struts, SSC springs.
As soon as I get the rest of my exhaust, Im going getting the car tuned with the 2.9 and 60# injectors.

Who tuned your car? I talked to a guy in Madisonville (I think) that said he tuned a turbo HHR. Wonder if that was you. Believe his name is James.

 

Mine isn't tuned. Want a cold air intake first. I'll be having it tuned by Futral Motorsports in Walker, La after.

 

Ahh, gotcha. I talked to a shop in Slidell, and they didnt seem interested in tuning me. Seems like they're more interested in the muscle cars.
I picked up an intake dirt cheap, haven't decided if I'm gonna use it yet because they say stock is better. I'm not even sure if its going to fit eitherbecause its from a cobalt.
