hail damaged black ss

Anyone here used to own an 07 black ss/sc? I saw it at a lot and they said they were going to fix it. Has black recaros and engine is stock. It has some bad hail hit.it. the windshield was replaced and driver mirror is.broken. the spoiler is broken in the middle too. Just wondering if it used to be anyone's car lol the guy is asking for $10k when its fixed.

i paid 11700 for an 07 SS/SC with 72000 miles. A bit much but I wanted the yellow one. It had hail damage. I know I overpaid.....

I have since had the entire body fixed, removed ricer wing, installed carbon fiber hood, and turbo swap. Not near the same car. LOL

the stock wings on cobalts are to help keep the rearend from getting light at top speed. theres a difference between a ricer wing/spoiler and a performance one. a ricer one is for looks and is usually bought from a catalog or from a parts store like pepboys or autozone etc etc. the wings you see on cobalts are stock and designed to provide downforce on the rearend so the car doesn't get light and loose grip. learn your ****.

How about you learn your ****? The stock wing provides 182lbs of downforce at 155mph. That isn't ****. Better off removing it for less drag. Also that channel underneath it caused major turbulence.

Cobalt SS's go for higher prices out on the market compared to this site.

Or at least the posts I see down in the classifieds make it seem that way.

Two dead thai hookers SHOULD do the trick.. Keyword is in caps! Lol worried about a 3000lb car getting light in the rear at it's drag limited top speed is a moot point as it's FWD. I never had a wing on my 07 lsj And it was Very safe and stable at 140+ for the record! One thing i HATED was in a stock height balt or ion redline with the Huge wing it literally blocks the light bar of a cop car PERFECTLY! lol

Drag limited eh? Wish my laptop didn't get stolen so I would still have that 172mph log
