Houston Monthly Meets in 2K11
I have been in rush hour here it took me 45 mins to get to my facility on 45 south.... Triumph hospital.. I work for kindred healthcare we purchased all of triumph out.. **** Houston traffic
No kendall, the home depot meet got shut down by cops. I wouldnt go there anymore. Also, he is leaving town on Friday. It needs to be on Thursday.
I think what laser_racer means is that it'll take us a while to get to the location so we might not make it that early. it'd have to be like 7 or later.

LOL Yeah bro I know what happened. Politics.
Anyways, my car is fine really. I did a semi engine build last year to do wisecos. I didnt replace the timing chain as the engine only had like 19k at the time. Well Ive been revving it to 7k for a while wich I think stretched it some and then I just istalled 78lbs supertech kit too which increased the strain on the chain, and to do that it had to come off again. When we put it back on my buddy looked at it and was like, man, I dont think its supossed to have that much give with the tensioner in place. So I do oil change the other day and when I crank the engine over it does a clackity clack for a sec or two and I knew right away that it had skipped a tooth lol Sure enough after the second key turn, CEL for crank correlation to cam being off and my cam phasers are displaying NO DATA wich means VVT is off to avoid a piston tapping a valve. So, Im gonna buy a new chain and tensioner to be safe and reset the timing this saturday. Weve done it so much that it takes us a few hours to do lol

YEAH WHAT I WOULD DO IS INSTALL THE TIMING CHAIN AND ECT THEN HAND TURN THE CRANK PULLEY TO VERIFY THE TEETH ARE CORRELTATED AND CORRECTLY ON POINT. oNCE THIS IS SO MAKE SURE THE CHAIN HAS LITTLE TO NO SLACK IF SO REPLACE WITH A NEW TENSION! i MEAN IF YOU WANT ME TO COME LOOK AT IT LET ME KNOW. iM PRETTY GOOD AT THIS **** LOL!

LOL no worries man. The timing was right when we did it. It no codes or any issues at all. It didnt jump until I changed my oil this week. Its been fine since the install a month ago. Im thinking the tensioner isnt pressurizing with oil properly and so its not taking the slack out of the chain but Im replacing both just incase.
i would go, but I have my ride stashed up around the Marquee area. Still needs to be tuned a little more, but then again that's awaiting me to catch up on bills and a boost controller. Wish I could be there dude.
Well, our Transformers movie night turned out great. Our next big meet will be at the Showboat Drive-In theater in Tomball TX on Saturday July 23rd. We are going to watch Captain America together. More details coming soon.
