Well thursday afternoon I ordered my stage 2 kit for my cobalt and it shipped on friday so that means I should have it early next week and installed late next week. Kinda makes me want to go out to test and tune @ No Problem Raceway on wednesday (april 25th) If anyone is interested let me know!

Oh and by the way how many louisiana cobalts we have here with stage 2? just curious!

The 7000 rev limiter is what i am looking forward to the most, i had a civic hatch before this and it redlined at 8500 so in my balt i keep on hitting that limiter i just cant get used of it

i deffinatly had the same problem, but i had put a good number of miles on my car before i got stage 2 so by the time i got used to it, i had to get used to the 7k redline.

 

Well I only have 1000 miles on this car (just broke 1000 yesterday) so i am moving kinda fast in modding this car but hey the sooner i get it done and get my car running the way i want it the longer i have to enjoy it...right?!?

 

yeah i got my stage 2 sitting in my room, I'm waiting for summer to start so I can go to BR to get it installed. They only charge 209 and no one else around me CAN do it. we should all start meeting up at MPR this summer

 

yo man i can talk to the mechanic that is doing my stage 2 he is only charging me 100 dollars i can maybe talk to him and see if he could do yours for you



the only problem is that he is doing it for me off to the side

 

yeah thats the only thing i wanted to keep the full warranty and that includes the reflash, but thanks anyway

 

he can give you the reflash, he is a tech at the chevrolet dealership that i work at

hey where are these places yall are finding to get the stage 2 installed for that cheap?? im from beaumont, texas but i dont mind a lil drive to find someone that knows what they are doing for a cheap price.

 

here in Shreveport, $160ish. i know the mechanic, he installed stg2 on his car and mine. i dont know how far you are from Shreveport, LA but just thought id throw that out there.
