Since everyone seems to agree on the 13th and OU will be out of town for an away game I figured that this would be the best time to have the meet.

I was thinking that everyone could show up around 12:30 and we could have a cook out with some burgers and stuff like that.

I hope to have the waterfall rocking and rolling by then. If anyone else has any ideas on what we could do later that night just let me know.

Im looking forward to meeting eveyone and getting to take a few rides in some of the faster cars.

so if i looked right its about 3 hrs from irving to norman?

i have to be at work on sun at 4am so the earlier the better so id like to be leaving there around 6-7pm the latest so i can be in bed by 10pm to get 5 hrs of sleep since i have to get up around 3am. so around noonish would be best for me if not earlier to start it. just hope i wouldnt be the only one there on a sat afternoon.

it's about 2.5 hours cruising at 80, it's possible to make it in 2 if you really want to. Any time would be fine with me, it's just that Bryce (MBM) will be busy til the late afternoon. 12:30 it is, see yall there.

 

I work until 12:00 that day so I shouldn't have a problem coming. I think the best idea so far is meeting at Marc heitz around 6:00 and then going for a drive up to buffalo wild wings or some thing.

Maybe I can drive a new t/c if someone has one? I've not had the chance yet, and while I think I will just continue to work with my 06 s/c, it will be nice to know how it feels just for comparison.

Is that new Marc Heitz location open for business yet? Since I moved from Norman to OKC last May I hardly ever go down there anymore...

Just read the previous thread, and there was talk about some people going to Thunder Valley on the Friday before. Anyone still planning on doing that? I've never done that myself, but I've always been curious what my car would do. If you are going, what are the costs?

 

well i will not be going after all. maybe we can change it to the following weekend. with ike coming ashore the chance of rain will be high this weekend. dont want to lose anyone with the wind and heavy rain though we wont get the brunt of the force.

 

We have a 60% chance of rain. If you guys would like we can always reschedule so we dont have to stand in the rain (most people would most likely not show anyways) and get all wet.

But I am down for anything and everything, so just let me know what you guys want to do. We just sold out of our SS/TC's so we wont have any of those for a little bit.
