I didn't see a new member section of the forum, so I figured I would introduce myself in my region. Just bought the cobalt(damn I love Iraq!) I'm not really looking to get to crazy with the mods because of the "first year" with this engine, maybe down the road, but I have "molested" enough cars in my day..
I traded in my 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP for the cobalt..
I'm stationed in Altus AFB, OK - southwest corner hell hole.

I am in Lawton. Seems I am the closest but if you need parts or tune this isnt the state for any of that.

 

Im in Norman, OK. I have met many good car friends that were stationed out of Altus, OK. Most of them are now long gone to Cali and Japan.

I am wanting to try and get a meet together when we get the new dealership built(2-3weeks) even if it isnt a Cobalt SS. So maybe we can get a thread started here and get something rocking and rolling.

Im in Altus. I used to have a 06 blue ss/na, you may have seen it around before. I now have a white 09 ss/tc. I know there is a yellow ss/sc and a red ss/sc around here as well. The guy with the red ss/sc works on the base I believe and used to be a member on here==> LTSRAPCON

 

I am in Lawton but will be trading mine in for a Camaro SS in 4 months.

 

Niiiice. I used to have an 02 z28. What color did you pre-order? I know here in Altus they pre-ordered 7 and all of them are ss's.
