OK GUYS its time to start getting those registrations in. I know christmas had people kinda strapped down so i didnt wanna push it , but the show is getting very close and i need registrations in order to get awards !
While i have already received a few pre registrations id like to remind everyone that when you send your registration in plz include what kind of car you have, and what class you would like to be in. this helps me organize classes better before the show. thank you

from what it looks like on the op you don't have to pre-register for racing just showing.

the track, not scott, PREFERS everyone to pre-pay. even if your just going to be a spectator. this way you get a voucher in the mail and when you get to the track you just hand them the voucher they tear it and your on your way. if everyone pays at the gate it will take longer while everyone digs for their cash or they have to make change. so preregistering isnt just for the show but perfered by the track for all entries. so if your just watching, watching/racing, watching/showing, watching/racing/showing prepay(register) to get the vouchers and make it easier at the track.

if your wanting to do the show then be sure to add car info, etc.

WITH THAT HERES THE INFO. the FREE shirt is if you preregister for the show only.

Price - 1 spectator = $10
1driver/1car for time trails =$15
1 Pre-registration for show = $25
1 show registration DAY OF show = $40
LSB 09' Tshirts = $19.95
*Every PREREGISTERED SHOW CAR will recieve a FREE LSB Tshirt
Pre-Registration from Dec. 8th 2008 - Feb. 14th 2009
* Anyone who registers after 2-14-09 will be subject to "day of" price ($40)
Show Classes are as follows:
Kappa - (Solstice,Sky) 1st,2nd,3rd

Delta - (HHR,ION,COBALT,G5)
Street - 1st,2nd,3rd
Mild - 1st,2nd,3rd
Custom - 1st,2nd,3rd

Jbody - (Cavalier,Sunfire)
Street - 1st,2nd,3rd
Mild - 1st,2nd,3rd
Custom - 1st,2nd,3rd

Please send all pre-registrations via PayPal to : lonestarbash @ gmail.com
--- the spectator and driver fees are TRACK prices, not mine, and MUST be paid ..for example:
If you plan on showing your car and not racing, plz send 35$ = 10$ spectator fee + 25$ show fee
If you want to race and show then send $40 = 15$ race fee + 25$ show fee
If you plan on just racing and not showing send $15 = race fee
get the idea?
Plz include all personal info when you send payment, name, phone#,address, year, make, model.as well as what class you think you should be placed in *keep in mind all cars will be officially classed
when they arrive at the show.

It is VERY important that you PREREGISTER, even if you dont plan on showing your car, this not only helps us plan for the amount of people coming but helps
things go smoother for the track as well. After preregistering you will receive a packet in the mail which will include all you need to get in the gate, park, and get on the track.
Well thats it for now guys! keep an eye out for updates and plz feel free to ask any questions in this thread and i will answer them as quickly as possible.
SEE YOU AT ENNIS !!!

Scott...does anyone know the order of the events? I'm sure some guys wanna race AND show......but it would SUCK if the show is after the drags bc everyones car would be filthy. Can you post an official timeline of events so we can plan on things. ie set up; what events we might wanna do; maybe a strip map of the layout of where things are at the track or event. I've never been there and have no clue what to expect and I'm sure there are many like me.

i understand man, and dont worry, this isnt our first rodeo
i have a map of the track that ill post as soon as everything is ironed out so everyone knows where to go and what to do..as far as times this is the basic layout right now, and this is how weve been doing it.

gates open at 9am
however time trials arnt open till 11am
so come in,get setup, start taking photos and meeting everyone
well start judging around 10-1030 am till 1pm
and if you are SHOWING your car as soon as you are judged you are free to pull your car out and go race !!
awards ceremony will be around 430pm
still working on EXACT times so watch for those but these are an outline

your right about custom being a call for judges..but some people have been doing this a while and already understand their car will be classed in custom, so they usually do it ahead of time.
but if we see a car registered as mild when it comes in the gate and we think its just too much forthe class we will then change the class for that car. dont worry, its always worked out
