kinda. I use my boyfriends dad's shop to do it.

 

i want to change to royal purple synthetic oil. but i hear its not good to change the brand of oil you use because your car gets used to having a certain kind of oil and when you change it your car doesn't know what it is and can mess things up. Thats what happened to some people that brought their cars in to my bf's job

 

Ya mine needs one also but I'm not sure what was used. Probably go Mobil 1

That's a myth. It will be good as long as u have been using synthetic.

it is a myth lol. ive used like 3-4 different brands of oils on my car. i switched to mobil 1 synthetic though

 

I switched from royal p to amsoil

 

heard bad stuff about royal p so never tried it lol

 

well i dont want to **** up my car anymore than it already is

no. if you have been using normal oil and you switch to synthetic its better for the engine. if you have been on synthetic and use a regular oil then thats what ***** up your ****. so once you go synthetic you never go back
