it's a torque dampener. And I wouldn't recommend that juan. They've been known to bend or even break on harsh driving loads (which is pretty much your driving once you go e). Your priority before you do anything is mounts (engine and tranny all at once). You can spend the money on the rotated mounts, but there's nothing wrong with the polyurethane inserts on the stock mounts. I've had them on my lsj for over five years and the vibrations are honestly not that noticeable any longer. I honestly didn't notice them after the settled within the first three months.

But that should be your main goal since these stock rubber inserts will cause a lot of excessive wheel hop and tranny damage.

whu???? the torque dampener is meant to fit on the OEM engine mount. Using it with an aftermarket engine mount (such as TTR's) is just excessive.

you'll never "get rid of" wheel hop. If you dump a 7k rev from a dig, you're obviously going to hop the **** out of the tranny (aside from damaging a few parts). Utilizing urethane mounts just stiffens the mounting between the tranny and engine and thus reducing the amount of excessive wheel hop that you would normally see at lower rpm's. Rotated trans mounts actually realign the transmission so that the drive axle in the tranny sits "straighter" with the engine. This reduces the movement between the engine and transmission which creates wheel hop, so for all intensive purposes is a "fix". I'm sure John Powell would be more than happy to explain this to you if you email him (great guy too!).

I'm saying you could, but it's like saying you're supporting your engine with your bare hands when you already have a two ton engine hoist holding it.
