well. i got a call from zoomer this afternoon. the part never went out. so i told him that if they want me to race this car, or keep me from disputing payment, to overnight it and i'll get it in as soon as i get it. so...i miiiiiiiight be at the track friday. but more than likely saturday/sunday. as long as theres no metal flakes when i go to change the oil

yeah today's definitely not gonna happen. lifters came in though. but i still can't get this bitch out.

 

progress was made. bottom of the lifter still isn't out but its now about 1/16" above the surface of the head

 

never seen some1 get their ass kicked so hard by lifters
