Alright guys and gals, me dj4ever (Josh) and my friend carbonfiber06 (Bubba) would like to plan a little something for us to possibly get together and just get to know each other and meet up with people. Now im planning it up on the northeast side of Houston only because were just trying to see if we can get some type of audience together, but anyone one else is welcome to meet up.

I was thinking about meeting up in Humble, over in the back of Marshalls / Sports Authority parking lot, next to the TGIF (Fridays). Now I don't think we should just limit to us as a group of cobalts, go ahead and invite a few of your friends, they're welcome to come and show up. After all, we all are a part of the tuner scene. Be sensible about driving, use your head and don't do anything stupid.

Now about meeting up, I think we should plan it out a little earlier around possibly 8PM. We can also get a bite to eat around many of the establishments there.

UPDATE:
I'm thinking were gonna move it from the end of the Best Buy parking lot to the end of the Marshalls / Sports Authority parking lot next to TGIF (Fridays).
Its in the same complex, just a little further over. You shouldn't have any problem finding it. The Best Buy and Red Lobster parking lots gets crowded Saturday nights. There seems to be less people in the Marshalls / Sports Authority parking lot, hence the change.

Cobalt sounds good man. All i got is a magnaflow exhaust, injen intake, carbon fiber ss wing, Motegi 18's with falkon tires. Anways, were just trying to get a tuner group together. We will probably talk car stuff, get to know each other and probably grab a bite to eat.

 

Go ahead and count me in, if I can't make it I will let you know.

 

well kinda like what carbon said, just a meet and greet pretty much. along with showing off your cars, mods, upgrades, tips and hints. then if anyone is up for it, we can get a bite to eat. we can decide where at on saturday. i know that a few others should be showing up from the kingwood area.

what i would like to do is have one big cobalt meet, up in the houston area. now i know houston is a big city and all; which is why i would like to see if we can get other little gatherings together on different parts of the city. ie: north east, north west, south west, south east, and central all meet up in a decided location on a specific date. this will all depend if i can get leaders for those parts of town. but that will have to be decided later on.

so, so far the weather is looking good for that night according to weather.com.
just pass the word around, and we'll see who shows up.

yall not know bout gmofhouston? that like the gm cars club that is pretty sweet. im a member there n we plan meets all the time you should go on their website. gmofhouston.com. the president is mark and you can see from past meets that we get together but cuz of the hurrican we haven't had anything planned out yet. but go check it out we take any new members

 

I'm on gmofhouston to but it seems all their meets are more central and south houston from all of theones I have seen so far. Most of the time I don't have the cash flow to drive there. I will def be at this meet though its only 5 min from my house.

 

well the president live in galveston thats why they meet there in central n south houston.

 

Thats fine I don't have a problem with that except for most of the time I don't have the gas money to get there and back. If they had more events on my side of town you could cont me in almost all of them, I went to the track meet and am scheduled to go on the 2k8 galveston cruise if they still have it.

 

One more thing. If you have any friends with tuner cars feel free to invite them. I wanna try to get a big group together for the meet.

 

we do mostly go to meets in the southeast side, but that's only because that's where most of the group lives. But that's not to say that we won't make a drive to humble. Just give us enough time in advance and we'll do our best to rally the troops, lol.

 

Thats sounds good bro. We got another week till the meet so just bring who you can. Im bringin a few of my friends. I think we will have a pretty good turnout.

I would like to give thanks to all who decided to support and show up to this little meet. We will definitely plan another one to get everyone together again. Bubba and I are thinking on possibly setting one up once a month. We'll have to plan out the details later on.
