Possible next meet event

Heres the info for the laps for charity event at texas motor speedway. I think about four of us from the forums went to the first laps for charity event earlier this year. The GTO club that went had over 15 goats hauling ass around the track. Here is a couple of videos and pics from the first event. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...060514-002.flv http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0...2c01876b81.htm

**September 8th-Laps for Charity II

You're the driver when Texas Motor Speedway opens the Speedway to the public for the last time this year. Experience the thrill of driving your car around the 1.5-mile super speedway all to benefit Speedway Children's Charities.

Laps will be conducted for Car Clubs (by reservation) from 5-7 p.m. and for the General Public from 7-10 p.m. A new VIP package will also be made available. The VIP package will include a five-lap session, complimentary event t-shirt, complimentary photograph in Victory Lane, a two week trial membership to The Speedway Club and dinner for two on September 8th in The Speedway Club Starlight Dining Room. The trick that most folks did in the last event was hold back from the pace car then speed up or fall in the back of the pack and keep a good enough gap to beable to go faster.

^^^^^^^^WERD!!!! it would be cool with the same turnout from last night. Show up the goat guys and start a good reputation for our club by doing this. I love it, I say someone start a Poll and we see how many would be interested in showing then go from there.

I would start the poll but I dunno how............

Yea, if your running as a club then go between 5 and 7. Other wise just drive up at 7 and sign the waver. They will send you down the tunnel. You pay once you are lined up. 3 laps for $30
If you don't roll in together then you can park once you are inside and wait for the rest to show. Tell the lane manager that you are going to wait for the rest of your group.
