So why move from Mesquite?

As you know, the last meet we had on June 1st was a great one, and also the last we got to have at the Randall Reed location. Following that meet it was decided that the meets would have to moved to once a month instead of once a week. Logistically, this was the best solution at the location in Mesquite due to the cars being moved. We have been promoting a meet there on July 6th for some time now. In a meeting on Tuesday, I found out that the cars once again would not be able to be moved. However, Reed Speed had negotiated the largest car meet spot ever for us instead, thus providing us the opportunity to expand, be closer to central of the metrolplex, and end any possibility of meet disruptions. So, starting July 6th, the car meet will be held at the Stemmons Tower's parking lot, at I35 and Inwood. The lot has 1500 spots, a patio, pools, a restaurant and much more. This is truly the very best, and the largest, meet location that we have ever had.

Please help me spread the word on facebook, myspace, twitter, and all other car forums and organizations.

With this much space, we have room to become the largest weekly car meet in the United States. Lets do it.

RKC is happy to expand into this new massive location off of the highway that will once again provide us a WEEKLY meeting location, as well as benefit the entire Texas enthusiast community as a whole.

Eventually made it there, but everything was just about over when I got there.
