Sorry I missed it guys. Last night was my room mates birthday, and now I'm at work at 7:00 in the morning and half ass hung over...Working weekends sucks.

 

FEB. 18th......wow u do have a hang over, hahaha

 

Damn I didn't even notice the date, I just remeber one of the other guys calling and saying this was supposed to happen last night. I'm embarassed...and yet lightly entertained by this.

 

Actually what happened, I helped Cole wire his flux capacitor wires correctly and he shot ahead about a week to get his income tax check, he completely forgot to come back to the present to go to twin peaks.

Oh and I'll be out there myself. Maybe by then I'll have made up my mind about an intake or exhaust and have it installed by then.

Also this Thur one of the experts/owners from the Redlineforums will be in town, he has good extensive knowledge of our LSJ engines. He would like to get together for some Tech-Talk n what not. If anyone wants to meet there as well let me know and we can decide where to meet.

Hey Vaughn, WOP on Tour is a Redliner in town for a couple of days. He helped me quite a bit with the CEL issues I was having and is very knowledgeable about the LSJ engine. He actually works at GM. Since he's in the area regarding an important GM meeting, might be good to go and pick his brain some since I'm sure he has a lot of information regarding the LSJ. He said the only day he'll be available will be on Thursday. Cole you going to make it on Thur? We might have to up the ante for that day since he's from out of town, I don't think "Yeah I went to Dallas for a week and they took me to Hooters" will cut it......

 

lets meet @ hooters on THURS! then you guys can go to the titty bar after that!
i wish i could go, but i gotta work ealry am fri, plus trying to organize this SAT meet too!

The more the merrier. You have an SS Monte? V-8? RWD? FWD? What kind of work done to it? If you know where Twin Peaks (in lewisville for Sat) and Hooters Grapevine (on Thur) are located then you are welcome to come out and compare notes over a few beers on all fronts.

Well, I went out and about to pick up my Ceramic brake pads and even though I've been in icy conditions before and don't find it that big a deal, I was reminded at how bad other drivers can be on my little commute. Since I have no control of the skills of other drivers I'm not going to make it out tonite to twin peaks. I also would much rather have my CAI installed when I get out there. Hopefully next week will be nice enough for a meet.


Oh and just on a personal achievment note, my next post will be post #100

 

Hmm, my 101th post (more if you are reading this late). Are we meeting at the Peaks this weekend? My CAI is installed and I'm ready for some spirited runs. Does anyone meet on Thursdays anymore? We need to meet somewhere for some quality time with my G-tech Pro and get some HP ratings, 0-60 runs and 1/4 mile runs (by lawful means of course ) Keep us posted.

We still doing the Peaks tonite? The weather is rather shitty and all the roads are slick. No good for runs but still ok beer drinking weather....

 

Spoke with Japeatr and it was agreed that the weather is too slick and nasty for some spirited runs so we're going to postpone tonite's meet till next weekend. Hopefully no ice or 1' water will be on the roads by then........
