Saturday Meet-up

Well the G-tech I have appears to be working fine. It will be made available for anyone wanting to check their HP, 0-60 times, 60-0, 1/4 mile times/trap speed, and lateral G's, both instantaneous and continuous at our next meet-up. One thing I might recommend for anyone wanting true HP measurements though, fill up your gas tank, and go to a local land-fill and see if they will allow you to weigh your vehicle with you inside it. It is important to get the weight of the vehicle since the HP rating will depend on the weight of the vehicle in calculating the HP rating. If you just want to do 0-60 times or 1/4 mile times this won't be necessary. Also if you like you can just research what the test-weight is on your vehicle from the many publications out there i.e. car and driver or motor trend. The one thing I will mention is that each magazine rates each vehicle at a different test-weight and gross-weight so this is up to you and how accurate you want your HP ratings. Finally if anyone knows of a place that has a good straight-level road keep that in mind since that is important for measuring w/the G-tech pro. I know of one stretch of road in Arlington that's quite long and flat and smooth. Sorry for such a long post........
