The last Drive in Movie Meet was unintentionally scheduled the same weekend that NOPI was going on so I had to cancel it since almost everyone was going to be attending that even.

The drive in meet before that one was a very good success so I hope this one turns out to be just as good. TMNT promises to be alot of fun and I heard good things about The Astronaut Farmer as well.

If you can't make it to the meet on the south side then feel free to meet up at the drive in. We would like to get there right at 7pm to get a good spot. This place gets packed fast and with Spring and Summer vacations coming up it's only going to get busier.

Last time we were very fortunate to have some great weather so I hope the trend continues. Here is a live shot of the forecast so keep an eye on it. The only way this will be cancelled is if there is a very high chance for rain. It is still very early in the week and the weather could change at any time so let's hope for the best.


Some of you may or may not know but there is a drive in movie theater out there towards Tomball between 249 and 290.

Take note that this is a scenic/longer route for the cruise so bring cash and a full tank of gas if possible.

We'll leave Starbucks at 5:15pm and get to the drive in around 7PM. This should be early enough for us to get a good parking spot up front, give us all time to get some eats and have some time to hang out and talk before the movies start! We'll take 45N to 610 and then take 290 all the way out to FM2920 for a nice smooth cruise(please DO NOT RACE on the way there....it's not worth going to jail for or worse)

If any of you have never been to a drive in movie, you don't know what you're missing! Bring your SO, bring your kids.....or just bring yourself.

Rules for the meet.
BRING CASH. They have an ATM at the drive in but there is a fee to use it. We'll fuel up before we head out too.
1. No Alcohol None Whats So Ever
2. No Revving You Engines
3. Keep Music At A Respectfull Level
4. Watch Your Speed Entering And Exiting Parking Lots
5. Throw Your Trash In The Trash Can
6. No Street Racing At Or Around The Meets
7. No Burn/Peel Outs
No Speeding In The Parking Lot

Please support the drive in by buying the food and beverages(they're pretty cheap anyways). Come out and have good time with fellow car enthusiasts!

I advise you to bring:

1. A Car that has a radio(if you don't have one, bring a boom box or a walkman). The drive in uses an FM transmitter to send the soundmix directly to your sound system.

2. A Car With a working heater....if not bring plenty of blankets because it can get chilly at night.
