i wouldnt reallt suggest meeting at the expo center, i think i'd be easier if we meet somewhere off of i-35, that way it keeps directions simple for those not familiar with the city, i mean we can all meet at somewhere like a big store, a HEB, or something, ya know...

 

Dell Diamond off of 35 not that hard to find and there are signs all over for it!!

 

Dell Diamond sounds like a good idea, a good big place for everyone to meet at, now where can we go from there? Zilker? it really all depends on what we end up doin? if we're gunna just chill and eat, we can go to zilker, and all park in one place, than get out, talk, take pics, etc, its starting to get cold now so i dotn know if playing ball is a good idea, than again, it would keep us warm, idk, does anybody have any ideas as to what we can all do, maybe we can all go hit up a local restaurant and eat there, than go somewhere to post up at and take pics and hang out and talk

Austin is Great, Car Clubs meet regularly at Rudys on 183, this could be part of a bigger event if it was scheduled right...

 

Just to let everyone know i need yall to post if yall are coming or not cause theres alot of people that have just made comments bout where we should have it but i dont know if yall are coming. just need to know so we can get and accurate estimate of how many people that we are going to have so then we can see where we can have it we will vote on a date and place. Im thinking of trying to get one of the chevy dealers here in austin to let us do it on one of there lots what do yall think about that let me know and pm the places where yall think would be good so i can go check it out. (when pm include address or at least tell me how to get there)

I could try to contact some of my dealership contacts to see if they are welling to host something like this.........the problem is only a couple have a lot of space.........

 

I think we should include a cruise somewhere around austin.

 

i vote for a cruise around lake travis, there a bunch of twisties that i did with my old car club and a lot of points to take pictures.

well cruise after the meet i think lake travis would be a great place to cruise to

if its not a problem could you just see if there willing to let us that would be great and it would look good for them

we will vote on a date im holding out for about 6 or 7 more people to say they will come

 

well what ever day we pick, it should be a rain free day, as for weather, we can all deal with a little coldness, also a dealer would be nice, what ever day we decide on it has to give us all time to request the day off, i know alot of people dont have small jobs to where they can just request off last minute, so this way they can give a good months notice, or something, i think something along late january early febuary would be cool, but what ever day ya'll decide on is cool with me, pablo use your connection well, a dealer would be a awesome place to host the meet at, also the park is a great place to get some group pics, and a place to cruise thru, the lake is huge and we can get a good long drive, only thing would be, please, every get there on a full tank of gas, so now one has to make a mid0-cruise break for gas...
