how do you think a 07 gti /w intake 6 speed would do vs my 2.4 SS 5 speed /w header/downpipe/catback/intake/tune???

+ the gti dude doesnt really know how to drive? (in my story)

2.4's usually don't stand a chance (it's like racing a Stage 2 SS/SC).
But if he's a crap-tacular driver, you it's worth lining up at in the staging for.

im going down to A-town for the statewide cobalt meet this weekend but ill be back next weekend... theres always North Star dragway in Sanger, its an 1/8th mile but hella close...

your 2.4 with those mods should beat a stock gti but i doubt a moded one. i work at vw and the gti's to me are not all that the dsg's are a little faster than the 6 speeds from the factory

my friend has a 2007 gti 2.0t full bolt ons, upgraded diverter valve and a chip. we are dead even from a roll, from a dig he spins until 3rd

no it wont. i raced enough revo and custom revo ones to know. at best that stock puny k04 can only hit 17.5 psi of boost. even fully boosted via a jamnut style recirc bov of through software, turbo back, intake, large front mount, itll barely put down 260whp. and its ceiling is barely in the 300's till u swap a fuel pump. if its a dsg avoid going from a dig if they got lauch control. that thing takes off like an animal. if its a 6 speed then its horrible first gear will give u an advantage. that little turbo boosts very quickley, too fast, those things wheel hop n spin like crazy. happy hunting
