Yea they called onstar right away but they would do anything until a police report had been filed. They filed a report this morning but onstar says there waiting on it to show up on the system.

Thats a very nice camaro in that pic. Good luck with the car man, from what I understand OnStar can locate the car anywhere it is.

Just keep after OnStar so the lowlifes don't have the chance to disable it.

Nothing is unstealable. Just unstartable, most new cars get stolen via a tow truck and get stripped with in hours!

He wouldn't have been able to file a police report if it was repoed

If that's the case it's been stripped and they're probably selling or about to sell the parts off it.

You can file the report, but the repo guy is required to inform your local police, who then inform you what happened.

Often times if it's through GMAC they will give the repo man the keys to the car so that he can take it out of gear and not destroy the transmission since they will auction off the car.

I agree! That's the whole point of having the service anyway. What a ripoff, I'm glad I don't pay for my OnStar anymore. Minutes were too expensive, my model year didn't have turn by turn nav, and I can't believe they would make you file a report first before locating your car.

I hope you find it--just keep pressing the police and OnStar to get on it before it's disabled.
