you use your needle nose pliars and fight with it for an hour... I created that and have ended the struggle for good, lol

and Josh thanks for the heads up on the Launch Control RPM change from Trifecta... I just got through emailing Vince, going to go with a 2500rpm launch, also got my rpm bumped up to 7000.. I had asked him that before and apparently he forgot, I never bothered with getting him to raise it up from 6500... I figure since i'm doing this now, might as well kill two birds with one stone

about the LNF clutch issue, who was the guy who met up with us in Trussville in the Yellow S/C Cobalt? I remember him saying he knew someone who could put a clutch in fairly cheap for us.... or was he just blowing smoke?

and is that the guy wanting to race??? if so, if what he is bringing is what he showed on the way to 59... when does he want to run them? lol

***edit***

Vince is definitely the man, I shot him an email and within 30 minutes that guy had responded that he'd get to it as soon as possible...

Nervous lol, I did pull the engine and awd trans out of my van by myself and put them back in.
But this is a brand NEW car. I wonder if there are any specialty GM tool thats would be required?
On a awd you have to pull the transfer case and both axles.
On a fwd you only need to pull one axle?

If its hoisting up the engine, pulling one axle and dropping the transmission, it should be relatively easy.
Hardest part to be honest will probably be bleeding the clutch master/slave cylinder.

Trying to find a day for all of you guys to be here at the same time might be a problem.

i've never changed the clutch on ANYTHING(besides an ATV, lol)... so though I do seem to learn cars very quick when working on them... i'd definitely be a lost duck on this one

more than willing to help out and learn, just don't ask me for advice on this one, lol

oh that is ok, I just knew his name started with a J... no, I have no reason to run him... I want to run the guy who put the beat down on a stock LNF and thinks he wants some a 23psi LNF with his 2.8" ...

and that isn't a knock on LSJs, but if you're running a Stage II GM tune, come on man..... I mean i'm not one for ricer math, but I probably got AT LEAST 75whp on him, AT LEAST 100 ft-lbs on him... and I know I can drive...... and a 40 roll at that? our sweet spot? even better, lol

I mean I vote 1 from a dig, 1 from a roll....

Lol I need to think before I type some times, of course you have to pull both axles on a fwd, they both are in the transmission.

I'm tired, long day of student teaching at the middle school, good night

if I start to bitch more and more on here in the next 2 weeks just remember i'm pulling 7/12s for at least the next 2 weeks... though next week myself and some of the other guys have a cabin we're going to rent for the week, and it'll be A LOT easier(its 10 minutes from the plant)... we couldn't get it this week because next week is the very first week they have it available this year.... all the hotels are booked up and have been for months preparing for this outage, so for this week... having to make the trek every day and it sucks(hour and a half away so 3 hours of driving a day on top of working 12, I should probably be in bed right now, lol)

i'm going to make about $3,000 in 2 weeks(bring home), but we're 2 days in and i'm already wanting an off day, lol

Hey Josh, in the next few weeks we need to start planning the dyno day... you figure if it's going to cost that much to rent the shop, we're going to need at least 15 people to get the price affordable for most people...

I'll spread the word to some of the car guys here, and may already have one in, a guy with a BMW 135i, its just a cai, catback, and chipped(not tuned, that chip they buy)... its not that fast he is just curious as to what its actually putting down...

but we probably need to go ahead and start to get it into the works

See this month isn't good already. They have moved drill 3 times so far and said it's still not set in stone. But if I can make it I will.
