2 weeks away, well, almost...


really though, the next 3 weekends are going to be a lot of fun.... I love some warm weather...

next weekend they're having a benefit for my brother's friend that died in the tornado(or for his surviving son)... my brother's step-brother-in-law is having it at his "ranch"... or whatever you want to call it, he owns a lot of land and horses, lol

they're having live music all day, a bbq, and some trail riding for both horses and ATVs... I figure i'll probably camp out that night as well, when you get a couple hundred electricians raising money for a good cause, will probably be some drinking, lol

Just looked those Ipad 2's up, holy hell those things are expensive, you could buy you a nice ass lap top for that much money and do way more **** with it.

or use that money toward a BNR 2871 turbo upgrade

 

Yeah I don't gdt the whole ipad craze, I paid $700 for my dell lap top, its faster, does more, and will store 15Xs as much media. Some people will spend money on anything I guess. I'm going to make an ICalc it'll be this thing to commute basic math problems, but im going to charge $400 for it

After the 3rd day of clean up the insurance company told us all to stop cutting trees up and they called in a logging company.

Thank goodness for that because it would have taken us 2 weeks to clear the trees just around the house.

You have E85, I've been reading up, E85 is better if you can run it and have it readily available, its better then a meth kit.

 

How safe is it switching back and forth thou?

 

Well my gf fucked up my tv.... What a joy. Cut it on and it sits at the Phillips screen for 10 mins then goes black then 10 more mins you get picture but no sound. So guess time to call walmart and see about that extended warranty I bought

 

I am tempted to try to run E85 on the stock clutch.... i'm pretty sure being I am almost full bolt-on(minus IC), the stock clutch is pretty much going to laugh at me in 4th, but I am tempted

the way I see it, i'll try it, and if it doesn't work... i'll go back to my 93 tune until I get a stouter clutch... would go ahead and commit to both but have a trip to Florida planned for July and it's going to be expensive as f*ck....

 

Was a used stage 3 clutch in the for sale section for like 250 bucks you could always look at buying :P.

 

I can get a new one through KY Clutch for $350 shipped.... going to pay someone to install it, I've never done one on a fwd and am pretty sure i'd rather just pay someone who has... B&L Transmissions quoted me $375 and it seems like that is probably the route I will go... drop my car off on a Saturday, pick it up when they are done with it... they've been in business for over 20 years, so they are not some fly-by night mechanic shop.... most of the mustang and Camaro guys go to them(that don't do the work themselves)... if it were a RWD car, I wouldn't be having this discussion... but spending all day pulling an engine, dropping a transmission and then figuring out how to replace a clutch, not on my list of priorities, lol

 

you dont have to pull the engine to drop the trans its only a 6 hr clutch job
