this made me laugh on facebook, a guy I work with's description of our race(I walked all over him, lol)

Even the Torqueless Might of the F20C's VTEC Engine and the Stratospheric Rev Range of its Honda Power, the S2000 still wasn't able to overcome the venerable and voracious 300 horsepower 2.0 Ecoboost of the Cobalt SS. At speeds of over 120 mph, the Cobalt exceeded the thrust my S2000 like a Rental Car on Steroids. (The loser; does claim victory in one sense that his car looked cooler even when losing.)

hwy 72 just outside of Athens, person turned onto the highway(making a right hand turn on red), didn't have time to stop



their story is they were already on the highway and I ran up under them.... no witnesses stopped, don't know how it'll turn out... but it pretty obvious I didn't "run up under them"


i don't know where i'm going car wise from here... but i'll stick around here no matter what

I hear you man, its really hard to see something like that when you have a car you really enjoy.

I almost felt that way about my van, and yeah while it was a van, I poured all my hard work into that thing. I lucked out finding another one in mint condition, really.

But now I have to swap all the turbo stuff and mods to the new one when I pick it up.

If you want we can find you anotehr Cobalt SS/TC, I'll drive you to go get it anywhere in the South East (minus Florida)

 

I'll find u another turbo Id you want to stay this way. Atleast get the exhaust off and rims. But I'm sorry this happened to you it really does suck

hand isn't broke, its just swollen up pretty good and bruised up, but wasn't fractured or anything


as far as cars, I don't know what i'm going to do, 1st i'm going to see how the wreck thing plays out... then I'll go from there...

i'm not saying I won't get another Cobalt, but i'm not saying I will either...

a big **** you to the witnesses that didnt stop. if i saw a wreck that bad i would feel obligated to stop. i know how it feels tho a truck lost something on the highway to cause me to wreck my other car. No one stopped to say that it fell off the truck and he ran. i got stuck with all the problems.

I doubt it, its probably totaled... ****, I hope it is, not for losing the car, for the fact it'd probably never be right after that... they picked my intercooler up off the ground about 10 feet from the ground



as far as the car front, i'm really leaning toward a G8 GT or a LS2 GTO

Paul i'm thinking G8 as well... just wish they offered it in a manual, they do, in the LS3 GXP which go for a lot of money because there wasn't many of them... I can get a G8 GT for $18-20,000, and it shouldn't be that high to insure(probably cheaper than the Cobalt)... plus it'll have 4-doors and is a V8... and while they are slow from the factory, with headers, a catback, a cai, and a 93 tune, they'll run mid-12s on good tires... a cam away from low 12s

and I mean they aren't "slow" from the factory, mid-13s... just slower than what i had, lol


either way, i'm sticking around here... will still do meets, etc...

 

I think u can get it in a 6 speed. Also my boss does auctions and I can get him to look for what ever you want. He just don't finance so that would be on u
