hey im the other guy that is out at barrett from time to time. i want all of us to meet up soon. i will be out there this weekend, i just got my car out of the shop and im ready to put this thing to the test. but hey lets try to meet up this weekend

 

Where and when do you guys meet on Barrett Prkwy?

Sounds good man. I have never been there before, but I do want to see what my SS can do. Hopefully I can get my CAI and exhaust before this happens.

 

if you go you might want to get a set of drag tires i couldent get my car to hook at all also you can try and lower your tire psi to 25-20 that helped last time i went

 

i went last weekend to see how the track was and it was just to cold.. alot of cars up there i only saw 1 SS/SC but i cant remember what it ran..
if it is nice this friday i will more then likely be up there running my car.. i am going to do complete stock run just to give another "base" test for others to see and for myself..
best time will be had right now because its not to hot nor to cold.. ill be trying for a 13.99 stock.. hehe yea its far reached but this car is like a toydoll compared to its big brother in the garage

 

good luck with that 13.99 if you are a good enough driver it might happen my best so far was a 14.6 but i dont have much seat time so i am hopping for a 14.0 or better by the end of the season

 

i consider myself a descent driver.. i am told i race stupid though and my ability to run the limits/shift gears is freaky fast

i have ran quite a handful of times in my 5.0 so the track i am good with.. the cobalt is easier to launch with alot less torque to the ground.. im hoping to break 13's..
realistically ill prolly end up in the 14.2s - 4s

 

well if you do hit the 13s than you can teach me how to do it lol

ok thats cool with me. i just got my car out of the shop on tuesday and now i have to put some miles on it. i would like to get everyone together and go to commerce to have alittle fun with everyone. oh by the way did you get your kit yet?

 

no its still on the way. i saw u leaving Thornton. I was going to pick up my car. Im not running anyone until im ready. and BLOWN06. ill be ready about mid to late April or however it takes to get 500 miles on it.

 

things arent going my way though. ptuning.com (who i ordered my flywheel from) said they will ship my flywheel next week. i have to send my Weapon R engine damper back because its the old brackets. im just waiting on everything to come in

Is anybody on here around Cumming, GA? I saw a red and a black SS/SC yesterday on GA 400.
