the group buy for the LED 3rd brake light is starting to sound a bit sour. A few members have pm'd the vendor and has heard nothing back. given its only been a few days, but it makes me wonder and a bit hesitant to send payment.

Yea Yea .........SO i just installed my intake today and now im having fitment problems. i think im going to have to take it back out and use a drill bit to kinda grind down where it bolts to the frame so it will sit lower in the engine bay. Has anyone else had this problem?

 

quite a few people have. Boy me and MPEREZ are having a heck of a time getting our cars tuned. Anyone else interested in getting a tune when we get things settled?

I've been getting all of my tunes at Vengeance. 500 for first tune and 150 from there on out because of dyno time.I just recently had an exhaust problem and I still do. I have full bolt ons and my car only pushes 147hp and 163tq so there is something going wrong. And I also just recently took the GMPP intake and extended to make it a CAI.

 

i have no idea what im putting down. i want to get it dyno'd because i can definately tell a difference since i put the intake on. now im saving up for the megan exhaust.

 

yeah but thats the thing. IMO this $500 first time is bull crap. There hoping u dotn come back. Im just going to find a place that charges by the hour. Because mine wont take long to tune. I know ill get out under $500 and this is my final tune. That down payment stuff is ridiculous though. What if they go under?

Besides i havent heard anything good out of Vengeance with the cobalts. A guy at Vengeance had one and said he hit 280hp with his with a 2.8 and 42's. But yet he doesnt seem able to get anyone elses car anywhere near the one he had. Even if he can get me at 300 hp, im not doing there rates. And they seem to stuck up to want to deal with me when i spoke with them.

me and MPEREZ are going to Engineered Performance and hes doing it for $175 an hour with his wideband. If anyone else is interested. Let us know. Hes in Marietta

 

let me know if and when you guys go. i drive a 2.2 so i obviouslly wont be getting mine tuned. its just as much as i love cars in general, i've never seen a car being dynoed in person b4. plus i live in marietta so i wouldnt really have to go anywhere to watch.

My Buddy Has A Stage 5 Kit And Vengence Tuned Him Only At 243 Hp. The Talks Alot Saying This That And The Other But Dont Produce

 

i got 243 on the dot with my 2.9 and 60lb injectors and a intake. And i had a Bin File tune

 

So what did he do after that.

 

He's Going To See What I Make On Thursday So He Can Show Vengeance

 

Im looking to make 265 whp. is 22 hp to much to ask out of a dyno tune and a full 3"?

let me know what kind of numbers you make JC, im really interested. have you called dyno labs in marietta? I think their rate is about 175$ per hour as well. Just a suggestion if the other place doesent work out. I took my car there and it made 229 in a 3rd gear pull and 223 in a 4th stock. Yea man just keep us updated becuase if the guy you are taking it too gets really good numbers then I'll probably go there, haha.
