Cobalt SS must be getting popular, I was riding with my friend in his 240SX today for 45 minutes and we saw 4 Cobalt SS's. A black SS/SC, red 4dr SS 2.4, orange SS/NA with black rims, black SS/NA stock. I guess the Cobalt SS is no longer one of those cars that only a few people have. Thats at least why I got it originally, cause noone else had one.

YAY, got my car back, except when I found it it had a massive dent in the hood because some idiot at the dealership backed into it with a truck only causing damage to the hood and not the bumper, thank god. Theyre gonna replace it though, +1 for me I suppose because my hood has all kinds of scratches and **** and water spots on it.

I'm moving this weekend and I don't have anywhere for all of this. I also have 2 transmissions
(1 needs the main bearing pressed in, special tools required was used less than 15k) and the other needs a new main bearing after replacement it too will need to be pressed in, was used for 20 miles before bearing cracked. Not a typo tranny #2 only went 20 miles before bearing cracked as a result of improper fluid fill. Both transmissions are in the original GM crates and will be shipped that way.

When I get home I am going to go to rumrunners. Rev her up and let the BOV do its magic....See how many heads turn. I like my wheels, the stock ones that is. I plan on painting them black but leaving the lip the origional alloy color.

Well now people go to retrievers but still, same crowd of people just 10 feet to the left. As for your wheels, i thought about doing that to give it the "i bought these rims black" look.

Better than going out and spending more than $1500 on a set of new rims vs. just painting your own. Hell, they look great already.
I also thought about removing the lower grill and show off the intercooler. Possibly painting a big SS on it. Wonder how that would look.
