I had my car tuned at Vengeance and they recently sold their copy of HPT and im screwed now because i spent about 650-700 bucks on a tune and fine tune and now i cant flash my tune back because they dont have it anymore

it is an easy fix if you can come up to kennesaw i can fix it but all you have to do is put the number 1 piston at top dead center than take the sensor and houseing out and remove the sensor from the housing than line the timing marks on the sensor houseing up (the little tit that goes in the cam and a line on the houseing)then stick your finger in the sensor hole there should be a notch there keep you finger in it so it cant move then reinstall the sensor houseing then reinstall the sensor and thats it but if you cant do it i would be more than glad to fix it for free but you would have to come up here to kennesaw

Ok isnt when the motor sitting turned off, the number 1 and 4 pistons already on to? and the 2 and 3 are down??

I just wish there was a how to. because my friends about to have the same problem as me because he soon to be putting diamond forged pistons in his car..

But one question where it the sensor at? and how do you put the #1 piston on top?? because i didnt change the sensor, the guy that fixed my car did. so if i find out where it is i might do it tomorrow

Remember talking to me like 4 months ago?? you pmed me your number and i called you that one night because i had that penut butter looking liquid in my rubber neck from my CAI?? Well if so.. i finally got my car fixed after 5 months, and i just got it back like 2 weeks ago and now i have a ticking noise i think thats coming from my starter im sure, because it takes forever to crank up sometimes and sounds like sparks, so im leaning towards the starter Because its going bad because it wont crank lol. Just pm me your address and ill mapquest it and see how far it is from me.

nope tune resets. i know this because loss in power immediately after and i have a mechanic with a device that plugs into the ECU and he can see just about everything and he said it was completely reset. also he reset it himself after we took off the ZZP header/dp combo

so every time your batt goes dead you lose your tune???......maby someone did not hit save on the tune.....but i had the batt disconnected lastnight and my tune was fine.....2.4 computer should do the same.....a hard flash should stay in the computer ....now your tests will reset every time you clear codes and will read not ready but after a few miles it will be fine....also it could not idle quite right after you reset the computer...it will have to relearn idle..but the master flash will remain intact.........trust me...

yeah i know what your thinking, but after i got rid of my zzp header and downpipe my mechanic did a full ECU reset, my car basically went into limp mode for like 50-100 miles and had to relearn everything, exhaust tone was way off, much slower performance, etc. took awhile to come back to normal.

Nice.

Hey whats the best way to run a external wastegate exhaust setup on my car? My exhaust guy is a little shaded and I may get money quicker than I thought.

You probably need to see car in person.
