Cavalier will be running tonight when my flashlight recharges so I can see behind the engine for the intake manifold bolts.
Then Mazda will be pulled in tomorrow and rest of parts installed on.

PullAPart, but the ******* Cavalier broke down again. SON OF A BITCH. Think it was more than a headgasket gone. Works fine everything was installed right. If that block was warped I am going to raise HELL and cuss myself and beat myself.
Not having a good night.

did you have the head checked to make sure it wasnt warped or cracked?
the 2.2 block is cast iron however it usually doesnt mess up the block when you blow a hg...the head is usually the culprit for everything

hmm...could it of been a faulty gasket you bought? maybe a one in a million of getting a bad one?.....either way if the block is warped you should be able to take the head off and see a difference if its the block....some reason i still think its the head.....where did you take the head to? and is the shop trust worthy that did the pressure test for cracks, warpage and resurfacing .
