Yeah I have seen a black one...and a red one. There was this guy with a red 4 door sedan who swore up and down he was billy bad ass...anyway I am sure there are more though. I usually don't hang out in the area much. I tend to go to SC or FL during the weekends. I am just now getting back into doing some more mods to my car. It was been sitting in a storage unit for over a year and a half...I was running a 2.8 with 42lb injectors for a while...but once it got around 40 and colder my car started running weird. So I reverted back to my 2.9 pulley until I had time to do it right. I was still having problems with ideling...boost was not going over 10 PSI...and loss of HP...come to find out cleaning my throttle body and cleaning my CAI filter did the trick. During Christmas I am planning on reinsalling my 2.8 with 60# injectors to finally finish what I had planned.

how often do you guys meet up? I usually don't go to meets because most of the ones I have been to are mostly composed of high school kids and rice mobiles. I like to have fun not spend time arguing about what car is better or who is faster with children lol. I am 26 :-P.

 

usually we meet once or twice a yr. but to cold now. i say lets try and do one this coming up spring if everybody comes. key word EVERYBODY!!

 

too bad cold weather is good for performance and terrible for meets.

 

My car is running great but i have a pulley making a horrible sound ever since its gotten cold. Its annoying. Im thinking its the idler pulley i replaced when i dropped pulleys

 

maybe its the bearing in the pulley. im still looking for a tune. but besides that my car is loving the cold.

I think it is. But im not going to repack them or anything i think the pulley is like $20.

yeah i have a feeling that GA 100 degree summers are a bit different than Michigan's. plus i think my IC pump is gone. sometimes it pulls really hard, and other times it feels quite weak, like its heat soaking bad.

 

I would show up for some meets but I'm like a few others here, I'm WAY TOO old to be talking who has the fastest car or who beat who in a street race. Now if you're talking drag strip racing and it's legal, I would enjoy hearing about THAT!! I'm just an old man living with a desire for "hi-performance" cars. I was around in the 60s and 70s when all Detroit made was fast. Keep me in mind and let me know.
