base dyno numbers
base dyno numbers
I finally got my car dynoed this evening. Which is good, becuase my exhaust should be in by the end of next week. My first run yielded 207whp and 183wtq, and the second run (about 2 minutes later) was basically the same except whp went to 211. But we didn't let the car cool too much at first, so we let it sit there for about a half hour and then on the third and final run I got 212whp and 186wtq! Not too shabby for bone stock with only 2k on the odometer. Everyone was really impressed with the numbers. They had a bet going before I got there about what the numbers would be. They were all betting 170 and 185, so I blew them all away! If anyone else, around the Raleigh area, is interested in getting dynoed on an inground Dynojet, just let me know. Runs will cost $75, i get a bit of a better deal, but I've given these guys alot of money in the past.
Nice #'s Beerman, I worked till 5:30 so I knew by the time I battled traffic you would be gone from RPM. As soon as I have some available spending cash i'll be there dynoing mine. Give me a call if you want some help putting on your exhaust. I put mine on in April & don't mind lending a hand. I've got 2 jack stands if you need them.
I appreciate the offer, but GM is installing mine this time. I got mine through the dealer, and worked into the price of the car. Actually I got a steal on it. It should be here this week, and hopefully installed by the end of next week. -CC
