Thanks for the warm welcome Douchbag :P j/k I have no clue I hated them but for the price and miles I was happy with the buy. Now if I can find some retarded redneck racer that will buy these heavy wheels so I can get some new ones. And WTF is up with all these tards putting 19's and 20's on the ss. Just plain tasteless and pointless and performance robbing. As you can tell from the Mazdaspeed my taste in how I mod cars is umm pretty dam sexy.

That speed3 is teh sex. Nice. What made you get a ss/sc instead of keeping that much faster speed3?

LOLz... you guys crack me up.

The Speed3's are MUCH faster than the S/C's. With some work and a good tune, and man pulley he would rape most Speeds.

If you need any help feel free to ask. I've had pretty much every model of cobalt now. From an LS to an SC and now my TC.

Will do man I will have a ton of questions incoming, and as far as a speed3 raping stock for stock SC Cobalt yea all day long. The turbo'd on the other hand they knocked Mazda off the block as king. I had the speed 3 at 325 fwhp and started to have problems with the internals so I parted her and got something cheaper so I could go back to school. Sucks cause now I have a car that isn't an auto accord (my wives car) and I get the modding bug again. Anyone that can help me get rid of the rims on there even for some stockers I would give ya a finders fee.

I am talking stock for stock. No STOCK ss/sc would come close to touching a speed3. The speed3 and ss/turbo are on the same par pretty much. But I wasn't stock with my speed3 loved the car but the aftermarket for the car WAS VERY pricey due to how rare the car was. I am happy with the cobalt the only worries I have are long term reliability. I am excited to start modding.

I am by no means trying to be the fastest ricer on the block So something fun that I can auto x with and have some fun on backroads.

Well yeah... 205/200 vs. 260/240 yeah, it's not close.

I'm done with this car for awhile.... maybe a big turbo swap sometime... but it's crazy enough with the power it has now. Time for some look mods, do some rims or something I dont know.

Well just let me know... I can help you out as much as I can

Superchargers are pretty easy... on the SS/SC it is a water cooled system... meaning you have a heat exchanger and water pump and resevior (the little one on the front of your engine bay with coolant in it)
Water and coolant mix, is pumped through the H/E and into the intake manifold with laminova cores (small individual radiators) to cool the charged air from the S/C.

Cooling will be your friend with it.... OTTP has a Front Mount heat exchanger that you can use in conjunction with the stocker with about 10' of 3/4" heater hose and 4 clamps. Methanol is prolly the SINGLE best cooling mod you can use, and the added extra octane doesn't hurt either.

I had both on my SS/SC and had close to turbo car intake temps.

I agree it prob would have been but then again I had every bolt on for the car minus a new turbo so honestly I don't think it would have been a challenge Sorry I loved my car and just like anyone else they are always going to have that love I miss my speed 3 I owned 3 of them one of which was my wife. I ran east coast meets for mazda's so if you guys ever throw together a meet and want some help let me know I have a TON of resources and possible sponsors that would sponsor the meet.

But I am on to the cobalt now and modding seems to be MUCH cheaper for these cars which brings a grin to my face. Now to talk my wife into letting me turn the garage into a science lb again. First agenda is to get those booty rims off the car.

Your 323whp speed3 isn't enough for his S/C car! but quick enough for about 90% of the cars in this area.

Lets just say his isn't your ORDINARY S/C car! makes well over 300whp itself!

Looks like I have a new friend with a paint gun Wow I would have loved to have seen that cobalt then. I stopped modding also cause anything over 350 in FWD just well counts for endless tq steer and becomes more of a bling factor than going fast IMO. One thing I learned is never judge a car based of looks I got STOMPED by a Scion TC of all things looked stock as hell, his FMIC was painted black and it was at night so I couldn't see it. I should have known when I saw him go under the hood and mess with something Prob a MBC, but dude walked me by like 3 cars. So I have respect for all cars. I don't play the fan boi roll. But mazda's will ALWAYS have my heart

The evo mod you guys did to the front I <3 it was it difficult? Talked to the wife last night cashed out my 401k I know I know have to wait 2 weeks but the modding will start.

Dude I see you are in Summerville SC I am right around the corner from you. Do you know of any local car meetups on like friday. Just curious, no rice fests. I just came down from the DC metro area and every friday night we would have a local car meet for all the area tuners. No rice all super nice cars. Just curious if anything like that goes down?

Also, I figured I would post this here cause I don't want to get lost/flamed on these huge forums. Does anyone know if this is the best price for the stage 2 kit and does this link include stage one parts? I am still a noob with the car and learning.

http://www.crateenginedepot.com/Coba...P1540C144.aspx

I am guessing I can do the install by myself, but after I am done do I need to take it to a GM dealership for a tune/or ecu reflash?

Also, best sounding most performance exhaust and intake? Thanks again guys for all the help
