UNCC meet is no longer going thanks to some **** who decided to street race on the interstate one of the nights the Meet was held and some how info leaked from one of the **** about the uNCC thing so the police having to take anything and everything away that is good shut it down.
yup, meet had nothing to do with it. I really miss riding up there every friday, just laid back and nice to have a large meet to go to and see lots of cars and get a few haters aswell. Racing was never promoted there, of course you had guys trying to get others to go out and run but it was not the purpose of being there anymore than going to some car show like HIN or something.

hey just checking about that meet feb. 7th at the coast I need to make plans for work if it is for sure, and if so we need to meet up around concord or charlotte area or just around there some where and ride deep to the beach

PHIL^ I may be going that day and I live almost in Charlotte, I may if I go meet up w/ YellowSport but if I do maybe we can meet up somewhere like you suggested, yellowsport is in Pageland so we would just pick up w/ them as we go down that way. Not sure if anyone else is going from around here.

So, who wants to help me return the cobalt to stock? Well, the suspension that is. I need to put the stock springs back on.
So, once i return it to stock, here is the rundown on parts that will be available:
Eibach Sportlines (reduced price for person who helps me take them off the car)
Triple Gauge Pillar Pod, Paint Matched (ready to sell)
Generic Dual Gauge Pillar Pod (type that you screw on the a pillar, black)
Victory Red Trunk w/ High Rise spoiler, Trade for low rise, or wingless trunk only
SS/SC Black/Red Leather Seats, Front and Back w/ rear headrests (possible)
2.4 Manifold w/o Brake Booster line or TB Adapter Plate (works with 07 year models)
Also have a turbo manifold (cast, T25 flange) that i may sell. Haven't decided yet.
Let me know, i gots to get money to upgrade the GTI!! Already got the badgeless mesh grille, and iPod adapter (lets me control the iPod through the radio, Monsoon Sound FTW!)

yea, happens to me alot, thought I had dibs on an HE earlier but that sold from under me, guess I well stick to vendors and not friends or other balters, gets tiring thinking you got the thing you wanted and than nope. Eh.

about midway through the page, and i have posted this before, but i work like 60 hours a week with barely any weekends off so, some of you could have "called dibs" a few weeks ago. But that doesn't change the fact that i still need to take them off the car. Pics of the install are in the gallery along with before and after stance for the springs.

There was a smaller one started somewhere around there, check the Charlotte section of INC(Importsnc.com) for more info.
I went to NY this past week to visit family. Was talking to a few of the LI guys about starting an East Coast Cobalt group of their. A bunch are interested. I told them maybe one day we can get a huge meet together. They linked me to this thread. Any1 interested? Hopefully we can get like 50 guys to go. I know NC has a big group, and if the LI guys go it will be no problem getting 50

I dont know about those damn yankers... hahah jk. hows everything going bro? keepin up with mods? just installed true hid kit 8000k, took my old pioneer sub out and added an amp and fosgate p3, debadged my whole car, painted my front tie, and am awaiting my HAHN Coolram which is in the mail....... you?
