Central FL Track Day||4/26/09
guys if i run below a 14 on street tires with no nitrous, no DR's on freakin gm stage 2 and a semi-slipping clutch, you owe me lunch.BLAZIN07SS[/QUOTE]post#50
ha ha ha some body owe a bbq lunch to....terry?
That's part of running man. Want a better 60'? Learn how to drive lmao. I was on street tires just like everyone else and I didn't have a problem with it.
...And don't even complain about IATs. Everyone deals with that, cooling mods help that. Part of modding your car.

driver mod ain't just about racing the car...its about staging the car too. If you and braulio were at 170*, and him with dual pass...you guys need help.

the car tends to get a little pissed off after spraying. remember how much nitrous increases cylinder temps. my first run even after that hour and a half drive i crossed the traps at 140*F, after i started spraying, IAT2's would not even go under 158*F in staging
nitrous increases "cylinder temps"...last I checked, the cylinders were after the S/C and shouldn't affect IAT. The nitrous should have cooled down the charge, and you should have finished in the 140's at best.
and I don't know about the Orlando guys, but us local boys did some very spirited driving on the way there...
