i went to the doctor for a check up and the recovery is looking good. the had to drain some fluid out of the knee, which hurt like a bitch! but besides that i hope the date we pick for the track meet ill be able to man the clutch again..

 

Its lightly modded just headers , full exhaust and intake. He needs some DR's or slicks and he can be a high 12's.

Secondly, Jeremy, you talk about your 4 banger can beat a modded gto. Well why don't we look at how much money you got in your car. these are estimates. TVS,60s,pulley,belt~2k. clutch and flywheel~1k. Not sure what kinda exhaust you got but ill say 500. meth and wideband-~500. CAI-200. H/E-300. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but thats $4500. That's like 3 times the amount of money I have in the goat. Hmmm 3 grand more in the goat and I could start in 2nd gear and still pull on you. Bolted GTO>bolted Cobalt. Cammed GTO>TVS Cobalt. lol i wish i had vids from the track. a4 gto leaving off the line at 1300rpm. 12.3 @ 115. you can even speak with slow sho on here. he runs 12.2's on DR's headers and a tune. thats it

 

A4 GTOs are better track cars than an M6 GTO so you can't compare that.DR's. You said on street tires. There were two G8 Gts running 13.7-14.0s all night so I'm not too disappointed. Everyone can talk about I should run this and he should run that, but every track is different, every car is different. You ran a 12.9x right at OSW on DRs, you come to Bradenton and can barely get 13s, granted on street tires but still. Braulio couldn't get 13s. Mike couldn't get 13s. I'm not saying you all don't have 13 sec cars, but it's alot different when you're actually there running the same day. I mean look at Jeremy, his car is quick no doubt, but he has a ton of money into it and to my knowledge, hasn't broke into the 12s.
