i think custom exhaust is cheaper at a shop. just but the muffles IMO. but i say you work on some cooling mods bro...just sayin.

back on topic: yea pretty much any local shop that can do mandrel bent piping is usually cheaper for pretty much the same quality.. a buddy i know recommended me to a shop where pretty much you buy the muffler, res, w/e through them and the piping is free as long as you let them keep your stock stuff.

im lookin out going with the slp dual - SLP Exhaust Systems - Loud Mouth II (Dual Exit) for 05-up Chevrolet Cobalt at Andy's Auto Sport - and then i need the dp n headers(catless) the cti would hook up to it no problem??

 

that exhaust is going to be loud imo. for that price i would get the hahn catback, its 3" all the way for a cheaper price. yes pacesetter header is what josh had and it made a big difference with a nice exhaust note. as for me i had the stock header dippin on ngas all day

not necessarily made but it has to be fabricated. thats why if you get cti one it will solve that problem. yea its $600 but lets say you get the header alone, that could be from $3-400 and then the d/p would be $2-300 thats $700+ shipping but if you get the cti your looking to save that $100 for the install. option #2 would be to look in the classifieds and see if ppl are selling headers,d/p,and exhaust if you dont mind used parts; but buy with caution*

 

im looking in the future for the exhaust too, but im thinking going custom, the only thing is getting a good muffler that will keep quite as stock lol. like a dynomax or borla.i had a magnaflow cat-back in my z24 and that thing was loud.

well your turbo now so the magnaflow will work fine, just get a offset/center one. im running a magnaflow and i want to cut it off so it can be louder im getting the hahn 3" catback.
