o wow, even odder lol. My father in law is a retired master and is an EOD instructor on the range lol.. how long have you been in? BTW you need to get on race850.com lol

Im new here in the 850.. Not under my terms though.. ha. 09 SS/TC.. Hahn cai, Dejon hotside with HKS SSQV3 bov (hate it), Clear Image cold side with maf relocation, crazy steve fmic, Trifecta 25psi, BC coils (pretty damn low), 3000k headlights 8000k fogs, gm roof rack, 3'' catless dp with 3'' pipe (gotta love the spool), i think thats it... lol. well i hope to see some of you around here soon. my car is getting here friday..

This seems to be mostly military on here, I'm stationed at NAS Pensacola. I'd be willing to head a little further east, Destin/Panama City area, for a meet one night if anyone is down.

Whats up? I've been on this forum before but not in a long time and just found this section. Some background.
I got stationed at Hurlburt back in Aug of '10 from Germany (been in the AF 5 years in Oct). Had an '06 cobalt ls in college, joined up. My brother totalled it while I was overseas. Got go FWB and bought a Cobalt SS within the first month. Turned out to be a 2.4L N/A which broke my heart so I made it my project. My current mods are:
Koni Struts
SSC lowerings springs
HID Gen 3
ZZP Stage 3 S256ET
3" no cat/mandrel/magnaflow
Synapse BOV
PLX Multigauge(Vacuum/Boost, AFR(coming soon))
Clutchmaster FX300 Clutch
Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel
SS Wing
ARC stub antenna
Smoked Tail light edges
Got a bunch of stuff comin in the mail as of late too, went on a spending spree after this last deployment.
TWM short shifter, new hankook tires, slotted rotors, afr sensor, turbo timer, turbosmart boost controller.
I'm also looking into getting an LSD, and possibly some Corbeau seats.
The previous tune from the initial Turbo install was conservative because of the slipping clutch but thats replaced now(still breaking it in). Gotta get a new tune.
I've only been to bayfront twice, and have yet to be to a swamp meet.

Nice setup man, not sure if I have seen you around though. I've been in the area for about 5 years now. I had an orange 07 SS/SC which is sold now and currently own a silver Cayman S now. I'm usually at the Swamp every week, so if you see me come by and say hi.

Hey im new to this area to im over in crestview by duke field. I drive a black 06 ss/sc g85 with meaghan racing exhaust ZZP intake 60# injectors 3.0 pulley other mods i just cant think of. Ive seen a few balts out there im just seeing if theres any other balts in my area. u can reply on here or PM me. itd be cool to meet other owners here so let me now thanks!

I'm deployed right now, but if you see a white Integra running around with a Honda Verno windshield banner that's me. Don't have the Cobalt anymore since my ex girlfriend totaled it, but I still have love for the Cobalt! I should be back by Jan.

what a jerk! I had an 06 cobalt that I left stateside during my tour in Germany and my brother totalled that one. when i came back i was walking through a parking lot and saw an SS for sale and got a case of the what some would say the "I wants" but i call it the "gimmie's" haha
