heh, yea, it looks good...the sticker on it! my father in law helped me put it on, and im plannin on puttin others on that back window...easier to spot i think

 

Not to hijack, but i'm gonna go cruise around for an hour and test out my new DC strut bar. If anyone else is going out, post it up, and we could do a little cruisin...

ahh, watch for those blue light special cops....is that the side of the mall where after u turn off of capitol, u go to the right? theres also a good stretch of road where the performace honda is off old wake forest

 

Its actually where 540 spills into the Mall complex.. It is deadend on one side, then from the offramp to one of the main roads, it is pretty straight. And always deserted at night since the mall is closed, and it isn't a road that is used other than mall traffic.

Yeah the doughnut eaters are out in full force lately.. I'll just outrun em..

Well, just got back, and I ran into like 20 modded cars. I guess they meet up on capital blvd fridays and saturdays.

There is some intense competition. I got one of the guys number, and he said he would give me a call next time they met up.

The whole meet was ended by the cops ofcourse. We met up at a gas station off of capital, and the cops came out because there were literally 10-20 of us at the gas station.

There were a couple people that wanted to race me, but once the cops showed up, it got a little to high profile for me, so I left. There's always next saturday.

Anyone else in the area that wants to come out next time, let me know, and i'll make sure I notify you for the next meet.

Yeah, it was pretty sweet. And most of them actually had decent mods, instead of the usual stock+body kit crap that is out there.


There is a WRX that i've got my eye on, but I know he'll smoke me. A BMW turbo that sounded sick as hell, An EVO, but it was debadged, so I couldn't tell much about it. A GTI that is the guy that gave me his number. A stock scion that was all about racing me, but it wasnt even turbo. A 350Z that sounded pretty mean, a couple transams, camaro's, ofcourse the civics, a coulple VWs, and a bunch more that I didnt even see. The whole gas station lot was packed with everyone. It was impressive.

Yeah! Me and my buddy with a turbo talon are going out in a little bit. There will be tons of people out on capital, but there have been alot of cops lately, so I don't really race that much, unless we get on some back roads...

 

i just got back, it was crowded...i guess ill hav to go at a later time..

 

Yeah, it is ridiculous how many people gather up there. I don't even go into the gas station anymore. I just cruise around until I find someone that is down to race, and try to find a backroad, or a good stretch of capital blvd that may be safe for a couple pulls..


I raced an EVO 9 last night. He obviously took me, but I put up a damn good fight, and once I even got away from him(but I heard him miss 3rd gear, so I got lucky).


I typically go out every friday and saturday for an hour or so just to see whats out there. I'll try to post next weekend a couple hours before I go out. I would love to have another cobalt out there.

 

Hey Travis, I haven't been on this site in awhile (dealing w/ a DWI). Anyway, I'd like to cruise with ya some time & check out everyone's rides. I won't be racing because not only did I use my PJC for a speeding ticket last year, I was recently convicted of a DWI. I have a conditional license w/ an 8PM curfew.

 

Yeah man, you could definately cruise with me. I have been wanting a passenger so they could do some filming!

But yeah, I'll definately hit you up before I go out next. I typically go out friday and saturday, but depending on if there are alot of police out, it is sometimes a short ride.

Just PM me your number, and what day youre trying to go out, and i'll get up with you with some plans...
