well i was planning on coming but after what happend tonight probably not gonna happen. its not related to the car so thats good.

Now this is about a 4 hour trip for me.

HIN starts at 4:00. I figure if I leave at 9:00 I will get to charlotte at like 1:30 after all the stops. Then we can all meet up and get a bite to eat or something. we can meet up witht he guys coming from the west side too

I dont plan on showing so i think im going up saturday. just to save the hotel cost. i would sleep in my car if my girlfriend wasnt coming. And im pretty sure the majority of the people here are going saturday

 

hmmmm.....i might be able to meet you and whomever where 95 meets 40 on saturday....of course i will have to leave at like 7....

 

I can backtrack 45 minutes to Raleigh to meet up if you're meeting people there. I know there are a few on here from that area.

 

Update!

I decided some meeting spots along the way. The final meeting point where we will hold our Cobalt Meet BEFORE we all roll into HIN is going to be CONCORD MILLS MALL. 8111 Concord Mills Blvd, Concord NC, 28027. We will meet up with the Charlotte guys there. Plan on EVERYONE being there at 1:00. We can mess around and meet everybody, and then I plan on heading to HIN about 3:30. It opens at 4 and im sure it will be stupid crowded.

Now that we decided the ending spot, you guys all see the route I have to take to HIN. Im traveling from the southeast all the way up. I could take 74 but i wanna make this a fun trip out rolling with a good size convoy of cobalts. My girlfriend is coming and its her first time doing anything like this so i want to have some fun with it.

Anyways:
I figure I will meet JACKSONVILLE GUYS IN WARSAW. Basically the best spot for them to hop on 40. I talk to them all the time so ill see what rest stop they wanna meet at. I dont know all the stops so i figure day of, you guys take down my number and just let me know where your all at and well stop there. Thats how i did the maryland meet.

FAYETTVILLE GUYS I WILL MEET IN BENSON, WHERE 95 MEETS 40.

RALEIGH GUYS, 40 GOES RIGHT AROUND RALEIGH SO WE CAN MEET SOMEWHERE IN RALEIGH, LET ME KNOW.

NEXT I TAKE 40 AROUND GRENSBORO, SO GRENSBORO GUYS LET ME KNOW WHERE I MEET YOU THERE.

Then it looks like a straight shot to the mall where we meet everyone else. If anybody has anything to throw in let me know. Other than that, let me know how that sounds

Are you still going the same route posted above or just taking 40 the whole way. Either way I could meet in Raleigh or Greensboro. I'm in between the two. Or there's a brand new Sheetz at exit 143 (1 down from me) where 40 and 85 combine that is easy to get on and off at. I think it would be right about half way for you. If you don't stop there I would probably just meet everyone in Raleigh to be in the convoy a little longer for the same reason as you (my woman is going too).

Gestapo007, what time are you leaving from the Wilmington area marked with the green arrow and the letter B? I would love to be able to meet you there. Also, could I get some more exact locations for some of the meeting places so I can throw them into mapquest? Like the Jacksonville, Willmington, or Fayetteville meeting spots because I would love to jump into your convoy at one of these spots.

I was going to be leaving my hosue at like 9:30 in the morning. IF you SC guys wanna meet at my house and then roll out together that would be awsome. Southport ferry actually goes liek right by my house. Also if you SC guys would rather come to my house friday and stay here and all roll out saturday morning you can do that too.

As for exact locations I dont have them yet. The area's i marked are general spots for people around those areas to meet us. I figured people around there can chime in and let me know where to go. Otherwise, they can just call me and tell me where there at and i can stop and get them. Same thing goes for you guys.

I will have to check and see if that will be possible. If I have to work Friday then I may not be able to meet up with you that early because I will be working till 7am saturday morning. I will have to look and see about how far away you are from me to see if I will be able to meet up with you even if I do have to work. I guess I have some homework to do tonight.
