nope. the pics that helped me out was the how to change your air filter remove the front drivers tire, remove screws and go forth

The hardest thing was gettin those damn clips off and back on! It was really easy, if u got a brain....but i think i may hav fractured my elbow tryin to pull off the hose from the stock pipe ....but other than that it was allll good!

 

how much was your hydrosheild?

 

got it at autoanything.com for i think 22 dollars....also....i have absolutely no noise ? nice and quiet, is this normal? I feel a big difference in the smoothness as i accelerate tho

 

no noise?? as in no whine?? cause thats not good. you should be able to hear that thing scream!

 

nope, no screamin...would it be cause i have the hydroshield on it? or clamps not tight enough?

 

hm, i dont know if that hydro shield would make that much of a difference. if you arent getting any type of loud whine, then i would check the clamps. if it is that hydroshield, then its not letting you get near enough airflow.

 

Hydro shield makes no difference. I have the same set up only in black. I'm not sure why you wouldn't get whine, unless you aren't getting over 5 psi of boost. Anything under 5psi it's barely noticable if at all.

If you are not getting full boost you may want to check your vacuum lines and the bypass actuator. (see below)
