Can we all set up a dyno day for everyone in the area? Anyone know a place we can set this up?

 

no not really, i know where they got bike dynos, but we dont have enough people to get a discount going

 

I can bring at least 4 cars/trucks from my end...

 

There are a few places in Jax that have dyno's. I'm not sure what it would take to get a group discount though. I had my Z dyno'd at Velocity Trends, they seemed to be good people. Maybe you could call them up and see if they will bite on a group discount. Hell they do dyno day's pretty regularly too. 50 bucks for 3 pulls.

Velocity Trends has a Dyno, Stage 6 has one, and a few others. Velocity Trends usually does a dyno day every couple months.

 

I could talk to Tony at HP Performance. I just got dyno'd though so I don't really care

Some of us are meeting up at noon at the McDonalds on Phillips highway across from the Avenues mall at 12 noon. I do not think they are allowing tuning on the dyno, but could be wrong.

Not really that place sucked. They have no clue how to run a meet. The music was terrible, the dyno was taking to long, and they had nothing to bring the crowd. They should have had a mic that they could be announcing the dyno results and talking to the people who were getting their car dynoed, that keeps the crowd involved. and get someone who can run the dyno faster. Come on 30 min for 3 pulls with no tuning is retarted. last dyno day i went to we pulled 20 cars in about 3 hours. i even had time to change my No2 jets between runs and i was strapped had my pulls done in 15min.

Has nothing to do with it being a Import show. It was a great time, great cars, and good people. Who needs music at a meet? I would perfer to talk to people. I feel the dyno should have started sooner, but 30 min to strap a car, and run it, and get it off is not bad. I still think it took longer than that, and there was not a big list of cars to run either, so why hurry.
