Well I went to FUNDAY SUNDAY. Too many damn people and cars breaking. Got there at 930 am to wait in line outside until the gates opened at 10. I didnt get my first run until 1130. I also made that my only run. I didnt feel like waiting in that line again. I saw a few other Cobalt SS/SC from GODSPEED customs or car club. Nice cars. Yesterday was alos my best. Couldn't get under 15.00. Yesterday I did 14.8 at 96.Im also completely stock. All in all it was ok. I would however go again it' s safe and LEGAL.

i was there. we need to put some faces to the local cars .lol i saw the god speed cars , i guess they have god on there side , or more mods than me , they were running 13.8 -13.9 all day.
my best was a 14.0 @101 with a 2.23 60ft (should have been my 13sec run ,the other runs were 14.2 and 14.1 @101. i got there at 11. didn’t run till about 12:30 ..stayed till 4 and only got 3 runs in. It was like attack of the 1000 dollar back yard wonders. 3 cars broke in the first 1hr of the event....i think the announcer put it best" its not even 12 and were already cleaning up the 3rd spill....you can tell its gonna be a looong day"

my buddy in his 06 si finally got into the 14s, ran a best of 14.7@93 ...my wife in the redline didn’t do so good , iv got to teach her about throttle control. she ran 15.7@93 15.8@92 15.9 @94 60fts were in the 2.5 2.6 range. in the heat of summer she ran 15.2@93 when it was about 90 degrees out , so i was hopping to see the redline in the 14s , but to her defenses , she kept getting the shitty right lane , and before each run ,they wiped fresh vht on the launch pad. This is good if you have slicks, but wet vht that hasn’t had time to tack yet is like glass on street tires. So she was pissed the whole day.

just another heads up. the next funday sunday is dec 2nd , maybe it will be colder out..

my 14.1 @101 and my wifes ..not so good 15.7 @93 ( shes not use to a sticky track and bogged hard core then spun when the car came into boost ...my lanch wasnt much better

 

Yeah it was sticky out there, but I managed a 2.3 60' my best in this car. I have a few random pics from the mourning, but no coby pics.
