Hey all...

Was just gonna post up and let everyone know that the DSLSJA is going to be heading out to Rockingham on March 17th to run the 1/4th mile. Should be a really exciting day seeing what kinda times we can throw down on a "real" track. I know a few guys on here have shown interest so I'm gonna put out an open invite for everyone. There will be special prizes for the club member who puts down the fastest 60' time... and possibly a prize for the fastest time overall, and highest trap speed. So if any of y'all are interested... post up!

last week i went to mooresville and run some good times (8.8) all day cant wait to see how i do on the 1/4

 

i'm going to try to make it but i got to get out of work first.... what time are you guys/gals all gettin out there?

 

The test-n-tune is from like 6-10PM... we'll probably get there at 5 at the latest.

Carlos... I believe we're all hookin up here in town on friday to hang out for a while and we'll convoy down on Sat...

Anyone going to this event: Rockingham has a strict racing rules policy. All racers must wear long sleeves and pants/jeans. Also anyone running 13.99 or better is required to have a DOT approved helmet (think motorcycle helmet). I have one... but I doubt it'll fit everyone. So if you have one... bring it... if not, consider getting one if you plan to run Rockingham.

Would like to go but not much fun in running an LS lol, plus I gotta work all day sunday and the women probably has plans for "us" haha.

 

Ill be there for sho ...stage 2 cobalt running 8.8? **** me...best i could pull out was a 9.19 lol stage 2 RL..i guess u have the driver mod lol

 

Carlos has a 2.8 installed... it ain't just stage 2.

 

I can't wait to see what my car will do....I'm looking forward to it!

 

you got to remember i was doing 9.2 stock so i got that driver mod

 

that's true... driver mod stage 2 from the sound of it... I think the best anyone in our group ran stock was a 9.6

hey sorry I didn't make it today had some stuff to do. I would like to see some numbers and time sheets and see how you guys ran. We should definitly get togeather around in charlotte sometime.

 

I think we're gonna be hangin out tomorrow afternoon for a little while... one of the guys needs some work done before he hits the road for home... so I'm gonna pitch in on that... plus install my rear strut bar.
